Material: Natural Fitness has created the Hero Mat using a proprietary blend of natural rubber and PER (Polymer Environmental Resin) to create an user-friendly composite which is provides the most important qualities needed in a yoga mat: superior traction, durability and density.
Traction: The top of the mat provides a non-slip surface that you would expect from a high performance mat. The ever so slight ribbing texture of the mat grips your body as you move through poses and holds up over years of practice. The bottom of the mat incorporates a texture that is designed to grip the floor and not move once laid in place.
Density: The Hero Mat is 6mm our most dense composition mat which makes for a thick, cushioned mat that is durable yet still lightweight enough to take to class.

Great Mat for jump rope
I love this mat! I will be buying this mat again, once I wear mine out. I use it for jump rope, and after destroying 3 mats within weeks I decided to put the money down on this mat. I bought mine from Walmart on clearance for $30!! It is a good heavy mat. I use a 2 lb jump rope on it and use it for workouts as well. I have good grip when jumping. When on carpet it does move a bit, but on hard ground (concrete, hardwood, etc) this mat does not move. With a 2lb that is saying a lot!
Best way to put it if I would of known how much I love this mat I wouldâve paid the $60 original price tag. Not complaining that I got this amazing mat for half the price though. Also extremely easy to wipe down and keep clean and it doesnât hold on the ends like cheaper mats do.

Good sturdy mat
What I didnât like is that it is heavy and awkward to carry without a strap. It is thick enough to pad my knees and seems durable to last for a long time. I use it at the gym as well as at yoga. And black is such a boring color.

Too Slippery
Itâs cushy but extremely slippery so not ideal for yoga. I think it would be better suited for Pilates or a camping sleeping mat
