    Versatility and ease of use
    When I ordered this I figured it was either a gimic or might be helpful in one of the ways advertised. After attempting 2 times my opinion is settled. The 2 ways to adjust the bar and handles is easy and the moves are smooth but also an added level of resistance. There are ways to increase the resistance by shortening the straps or doubling the cords or using higher resistance cords. The set also offers a door resistance attachment which works excellent too. It is also possible to have 2 people working out at the same time using the leg straps and door attachment while the other is using the bar and handles.Ways to make workout more intense include increasing repetitions or adding resistance.As a fan of pilates and their gentle and efficient results I am completely satisfied. Portability, it is completely collapsible in travel bag and easy to assemble and adjust person to person. Gyms are not in our budget so this is a blessing to work on our bone density and muscle strength as we age. My husband is 5′ 9″ and I am 5′ 5″.

    Adjustable to Fit Petite People
    I see a lot of reviews complaining about this Pilates bar not being for short people. I’m 5′ nothing and I did not have any problems with this bar. It was easily adjustable for my height. I will say that this bar is quite a bit longer than my old one, but that wasn’t a problem for me either.I needed a bar I could add weight to and this one works exactly as described. I’ve only used it 3 times, but I’m loving it this far. My favorite thing is that the weight is also very easily adjustable. I’m using 30 pound resistance for upper body and found it was too low for lower, so I plan to up it my next workout. All I have to do it clip the extra 10+ pounds on and I’m ready to go. No big break between sets, which is key for me.This bar is easy to put together, it’s sturdy at any weight and doesn’t come loose like my old one did during a workout. The best thing is that I won’t grow out of this one because it works up to 80 pounds. I’m quite pleased with this purchase. It’s easily adjustable for both height and weight and worked perfectly for me, a petite, 5′ nothing female.

    Lots of conflicting reviews from PETITE PEOPLE…here’s another one.
    Welp, I’m another shorty at 5’2”. There’s people on here who say they’re only 5’ and it works great. The seller says to twist the bar to make it “adjustable”.For me, it’s too long, but not too much. You can twist it like the seller recommends (this is not made to do this as an actual feature), but depending on the exercise this could be uncomfortable and feel uneven. I wish it was more adjustable.The pink is not the pink in the photos, but that’s okay. I actually like the brighter pink that arrived at my doorstep. It is a great bar! It feels like a nice quality and easily snaps together and comes with a carrying bag. You can also add weight if you want. The foot straps seem cheap. The entire black strap in general seems cheap, but for $29 who cares. This works. You will get your money out of it and even if you’re short you can still do stuff with it.Anyone under 5’2” though…I dunno. I think I may be the cut off. I can wrap it around twice, but for someone shorter you wouldn’t want to wrap it anymore. I’m not recommending that.

    This set is exactly what I needed to re-energize my at-home workout! Good quality, good selection of weight bands to handle a variety of great exercises, and easy to use. Great value, too. I am very happy with my purchase!

    Great customer service
    I’m new to Pilates and really enjoy the bar workouts. This bar is sturdy with metal screws and does the job well. I like the extra bands with varying degrees of resistance. Unfortunately after 6 weeks of nearly daily use the one piece would not screw in and stay in, almost like the threads were stripped. Very annoying when it pops out while exercising and you have to hold it differently to make sure it stays in. I contacted Better Sense about the issue I was having hoping they would just send me the part(s) that were messed up, but they sent me a whole new kit! They responded within a day or two to my email request and the new kit arrived quickly. Very pleased they stood by the their product!

    Seems good for the price but kit is missing an item
    Ordered this kit as I need to do some resistance exercises for conditioning. Has a lot of parts for a variety of options. It is quite sturdy and functional.The length of the resistance bands seem to be a bit too much for a person of height 5′ 5″ but maybe I need to adjust it more. I have it at the shortest but it still seems a bit loose to me. Have only tried a few exercises. Maybe I can update once I progress to using it better.Giving it 3 stars for now, as the door anchor is missing and I have received no answer from their support till now. Will update if I hear back after this.

    Great so far and good for the vertically challenged
    I found this bar after seeing ads for other, more expensive ones. I’ve had it for a couple of weeks and so far, I love it. It makes working out a lot more engaging vs. just using body or free weights. YouTube has tons of videos/instructors with the bar so you can take “classes.” I’m only using the green band (least resistance) right now and it’s definitely enough to feel even a 15 minute workout the next day. The bar was easy to assemble, and I’m only 5’1 and have no issue there – some other bars are not as petite friendly I guess so I was looking for one that had good reviews for the short folk among us. I’m definitely happy with my choice!

    Great option to expensive pilates classes
    This set up is an awesome option to those expensive Pilates classes. It’s easy to set up, easy to use, includes an awesome 2 sided chart to guide you on exercises. I love that I can it anywhere with me in the provided bag and I can use whole on my vibration plate

    I haven’t had a chance to workout with the bar yet but I am impressed with what I have seen so far. All of the materials are well made and the box came with everything in it. The only thing that I would say that would make it better at this moment is if the worksheet was laminated. 4 stars for now but I’m sure that it’ll be a 5 once I try it.

    I really like this idea. For the price, you do get a wide array of exercises. I found a lot of videos on Youtube for pilates bar. Especially the door frame option is very handy. I take the door strap and a couple of bands with me while travelling and it works great. The bar exercises are a bit awkward as the bar is long but you get used to it. One thing to watch out for is your height. I am 5’10” and this is maxed out at that height. They clearly state that in the description but just confirming that yes, you will not able to use the higher level bands for standing exercises where full extension is required. They just don’t stretch far enough. But paying $50 for this set was well worth it and I recommend it
