I have a number of blocks of differing materials (Bamboo, cork foam), half of which I purchased with my own money. There is definitely a place for high quality thick Foam blocks. From my photos youâll see that the Sunshine (3 color) block is the same dimensions as my higher end cork blocks. If I already own a cork set, why get this EVA block? First, thick cork blocks being heavy and substantial are a hassle to transport multiple times a week to and fro from the studio. In a flow practice, moving from one posture to another, for example warrior 1 to extended side angle to then reverse directions on the mat for the same poses, makes a lighter full dimension EVA foam block much easier to move around the mat. And that movement can be done quickly with just one hand and a light gripe with fingers. The heft of cork blocks, makes it a laborious effort that will take seconds more.Block height and depth will vary depending on use and body size. If placing a block between your shoulders while lying flat on your back is what you need to stretch your back and pectorals a higher (thicker) block might be preferred. The same goes for a support “bridge pose where block(s) are placed under your sacrum. In these same positions, a foam block will feel more comfortable for a sustained time in this position. For most arm balances, e.g., eight angle pose, Lolasana (pendant pose), cork is preferred due to the lack of flex or movement. I would be comfortable doing either of those arm balances using this thicker and wider EVA foam block. But, you need to consider your total body weight.The Sunshine blocks come individually sealed in plastic. There is no smell for this type of foam. The blocks are sturdy dense and most likely very durable. At the same time they are light and easy to transport. This set came in a group of 10 blocks, which makes if perfect for a part time Registered Yoga Teacher, who might do once a week adult school class, or for outreach activities such as kids yoga in the schools, and needs to bring extra blocks to encourage new students. I have a friend who mostly teaches in large studio, but who also teaches in a small home studio, this is a perfect way to supply her studio in bulk with easy to clean props.

Excellent bulk order! Great for a yoga practice as well as physical therapy practices. I use these in my home gym, and for doing at home strength work. They can easily be used as a step up and down for healing. Very smooth blocks. Love the colors as well!

Perfect yoga blocks
I donât do a lot of yoga⦠Iâm more of a weights and boxing guy. But I want to start and I thought these might help me get started as I read somewhere that blocks can help bridge the gap while youâre improving your basic flexibility, which I desperately need.Weâll see⦠so far these seem ok for that purpose. They are aesthetically pleasing, soft touch surfaces, smooth and light with clean lines and chamfered edges, yet very firm – in one picture you can see me standing on the block upright, and while one foot is on the ground Iâm putting about 80% of my 220+ lbs weight on the block, and its barely compressing at all. And yet it was quite comfortable on my foot at the same time, so I assume this is a good sign that this can stand up to the pressure while still being comfortable. I will update this review if ongoing usage yields further revelations, but as of now these seem excellent.

Professional grade yoga blocks!
These are perfect yoga blocks identical to ones you would see at any yoga studio. I decided to go ahead and order this bulk box since the price is so much better than buying individual blocks and I use multiple during my practice and will be giving the rest to friends and family. The blocks are made of quality foam with the perfect amount of ply to use comfortable, but they keep their shape just fine and clearly will last a lifetime. The blocks arrived safely in a tightly packed cardboard box. and each block is packed individually in plastic packaging to keep them extra safe, and none are damaged or scratched. If i need more yoga products I will definitly be going back to Sunshine Yoga 🙂

These are good quality yoga blocks at a fantastic bulk price! Why spend $10 on one when you can get these for a little over $5 a piece? My only complaint is that the colors offered are not my ideal first or second choice, so I hope to see new colors and color combinations from Sunshine Yoga in the future!

Nice high density foam!
The Sunshine Yoga 4″ Striped Yoga Block are a three piece design. They are three layers sandwiched together presumably with glue. The EVA foam is high density and is able to support my 170 pound frame without any problems or deformation.This is a box of 10, which I may have not noticed when requesting them. Especially being a yoga noob. Hopefully I can find a yoga partner or two in the family that would be willing to take a class with me.

Great medium density yoga blocks
I was pretty impressed with these yoga blocks. They are a nice medium level density, which is perfect if you just need a little assistance with balance or support, or leverage during some more advanced moves (pigeon for me). There are softer blocks, and sturdier ones for folks who might need more support, but I found these to be just right for my level of yoga-fitness. Very light weight and easy to use/maneuver/carry. And the cost value for this 10 pack is the icing on the cake. A definite recommendation.
