I wanted to start doing yoga, now that my baby is 3 years. I’m now plus size and notice that most of the yoga mats don’t keep your feet from touching the ground when doing spread eagle pose. I don’t want my feet or hands touching the ground if I go outside to do yoga. This mat is absolutely wonderful. It’s nice and spacious. Big enough for my 3 year old to join in for stretching . It’s thick enough to be comfortable. It came with 2 elastic bands to keep it together when not in use. I’m definitely going to have to get a yoga strap of some kind to keep it together or a carrying bag. I highly recommend this mat. It didn’t cost much and it’s made well

I bought this yoga mat to help reduce pain in my feet and joints when working out. The mat is thin but very soft and does help reduce the pain I feel if I workout without the mat. Iâm very pleased with the quality as well as the affordability!

Needed to purchase this after getting my floors laminated. It has sufficient cushioning and easy to clean, but after so many used, started buckling in two places in the middle.

I love the color of this mat. It comes with a carrying strap that easily slips on and can be tightened, and it comes with a bag, but I don’t use it.I use it at hot yoga and at home to do ab workouts.I have a towel I put over it at hot yoga, so it’s pretty comfortable. It’s not a thick mat (but it’s not top thin), so when I use it by itself without a towel during ab workouts, it can get a little hard and uncomfortable, but I’m not on it long enough to feel any real discomfort. If you experience pain easily, you might feel the hard floor more.It does not slip during class, in 104 degree room with 40% humidity, so that’s great!It didn’t have any weird smells or rubbery/chemical smells when I got it, and it doesn’t get a smell during class.And I feel bougie like the rest of girls in class coming in with my yoga mat with a carrying a strap!Overall, if you’re looking for a mat for comfort or you often experience pain, don’t purchase this mat, get one with more thickness. If you’re looking for a mat that is affordable and to get the job done, this is a great bet 🙂

I like the thickness, but…
I started doing yoga and decided that with hardwood floors and at my age, I would benefit from a thicker mat than the one I had picked up at a big box store years ago (for other types of workouts back when I lived in a house with carpet). I really like the thickness of this mat. No complaints there at all.Another positive is the smell (or lack of it). I am extremely sensitive to odors and tend to get headaches with some of things companies are producing nowadays, so I try to be careful about what I bring into my home. When I saw something on the packaging saying made in China, I was actually afraid to open it. I know I sound like a wimp, but the headaches can be excruciating. Anyways, I got up the courage to open it and am very happy to report that I did not get a headache. In fact I noticed no smell at all. So, I put my nose right up to it and bravely inhaled. It had a very faint smell of something similar to an unscented lotion. Those of you that don’t have problems with odors will think I’m crazy, but those that are sensitive know what I’m talking about – unscented items still have a scent. I’ve been using this mat since I received it in February and have not had any problems with smell or off-gassing of any kind.So, why 3 stars? This mat ‘dents’ really easily. For instance, if I put a strap on it (loosely, since I keep it at home & don’t carry it anywhere), it will leave a dent mark where the strap crosses the end of the mat. Also, it has ripples in it when I roll it that gentle down, but just won’t go away – even by the end of a 50 minute yoga session. Their not horrible, but my cheap mat doesn’t dent or have semi-permanent ripples and curled edges. I would like to note that we have pets, so our house is not immaculate. So, in an effort to keep my mats clean, I fold them in half before rolling, so that the part that touched the floor does not touch the part that my body goes on. I don’t know if this makes sense, but even though I’m not just rolling it like a tube, I am doing my ‘fold’ loosely as well as the rolling (just like I do with the cheap mat), so I don’t think it should cause these rippling issues.I do not do hot yoga. I am a beginner that is attempting to learn from DVDs. One of my videos is more of a stretch and relaxing yoga and the other is a bit more of a workout and causes my hands to become slightly damp. I have noticed slipping – not enough to feel like I would do a face plant, but it’s definitely distracting and I wouldn’t feel safe using this if I were doing a more advanced type of yoga. In addition, the ‘ripples’ want to slide out flat (on my hardwood floors) and then turn back into a ripple when I change positions.I thought the price was fair (just under thirty dollars) when I purchased, but this mat is not going to have the lifespan that my cheap thin mat that has taken much abuse over the years (push ups while wearing shoes is an example) has given me. My cheap mat is well over 15 years old. This yoga mat has been babied and used for what I would consider ‘gentle’ yoga and barefoot or with socks for only a few months, and it’s showing wear. So, I kind of feel that I overpaid.The markings would be great, but they tend to blend in a bit and not show as prominently as I’d like. Keep in mind that I’m ‘reading glasses age’, so this might not be an issue for everybody.All in all, the thickness of the mat has improved the comfort level of yoga, but due to hands slipping, durability issues, and failure of the mat to lie flat, I do not plan on purchasing this particular mat again when it needs replaced. It’s good enough for me at the level of yoga I’m doing at this time, but even being as inexperienced as I am, I can tell that this is not a great mat.

I get a lot of sun in the AM being in a high rise condoâ¦currently my Christmas tree is blocking it but I love stretching in the sun and the space where I do it is hardwood so this is perfect for the space.

Loveeee this yoga mat. I had been researching on and off for years for a perfect yoga mat for me. I had ordered two in the past and as soon as I received them in the mail I noticed the big PVC letters on the package which is a poisonous chemical in a lot of similar materials. I read up on the chemical and it just made me uncomfortable to use. So then I started looking for more natural based biodegradable materials and 1) they are SO expensive. Like ridiculous and 2) a lot of brands make it seem like they donât have these harmful packages but as soon as you get it in the mail it lists alllll of them.Frenzybird was a lifesaver! It was the perfect combination of eco-friendly and pocket-friendly. I didnât have to spend an arm and a leg to avoid harmful chemicals and I didnât have to sacrifice any other nice features of a yoga mat! Itâs so comfortable, has cute colors, has guidance lines for yoga positions, it DOESNâT smell bad, and it rolls up very easily (and flattens back out easily too). Plus it comes with a cute duffel bag for traveling with it! So pleased with this product and will be buying from them again!

Great yoga mat. I donât have any problem fitting it back in the carry bag after use. The pale colour does mark a little easily. Non slip and perfect thickness.
