This DVD set is very well done and the instructor explained the exercises very well. However It was too challenging for me. I am recovering from a stroke and was unable to do the majority of the moves.The maker of this DVD was so kind and generous in suggesting a different DVD that would be more suitable for me.

These are Great Workouts
I have some of Curtis’s other workout DVD’s & really like them; he is a very experienced trainer. You might wonder if you can get a good workout from these and the answer is, Yes. I always break a sweat with Curtis’s workouts. This morning I tried these new workouts and am very pleased; so far I have only done disk one, have two more to go. I did Warm-up 1 & 2, Strength 1 & 2 and one of the Balance workouts. Great way to start the day. Simple moves but really gets the blood pumping. Curtis is very creative in developing moves that really work but don’t beat your body up; my favorite move is doing abs without getting on the floor.

I truly enjoy using the DVDS. This gives me an option on days when I don’t feel like going to the gym or an added addition with the the gym. It is truly a workout, not just for seniors.

Good work out for Seniors
I really enjoy working out with Curtis Adams! His routines for seniors are really good. I like that I’m getting a good work out and I can sit if I want or need to. I have purchased two DVD’s. The first one I loaned to my daughter-in-law. It was called Simply Seated. The quality and format is much much better then this set. The routines are still great but the “segments” are separate and you have to start each one with your remote. I don’t like having to start the exercises for warmup, then choose another for cardio, then another for strength, etc. I guess the idea behind it is so you can pick and choose your routine for the day.

The individual exercises are good. But absolutely hate they donât flow together. Have to stop after every 5 minute segment to move it forward. Should be able to pick which segments you want to do and play them all at once.
