    Best of the Best!
I’ve had several Yoga Mats before but never had a Yoga Mat like Zeesa Na Premium by Prosporta Sweden! The quality and the features presented here make this mat superior to all the rest that I’ve tried.Starting with the cushion, because comfort is most important when you have all ceramic tile floors, as I do. The mat appeared thin when I opened it, but as I unrolled it and knelt down, I could tell this was a whole different level of quality than my previous purchases of other brands. The 2mm thick rubber is soft and provided twice the cushioned comfort that I was expecting. And layer number 2 is a 2mm thick vegan coating for non-slip sweat-resistant durability. It’s easy on the knees and elbows, for sure! The comfort this mat provides lets me focus on my workout not on pain! If you have arthritis in your knees, elbows or joints, your body will really appreciate this.Because it is rubber, it rolls up and unrolls easily for storage & portability. I’ve been told by several instructors that a rubber mat is the only way to go, and now I believe them. No synthetics or “almost rubber” construction here. Additionally, I believe that because it is rubber and not a rubber substitute, it doesn’t have a strong odor and stink up the area where I’m going to do my work. It also comes in five pleasing colors. If pleasing to the eye is important to you as it is to me, you’ll like the colors. I chose Green and I’d probably call it “Teal” instead of Green because that’s what it is to me. But whatever color you call your mat, it is very pleasing to the eye and surroundings. The Teal is a soft tone that really brightens up my exercise room. I like that a lot!Safety is most important, above all else when exercising. This mat is non-slip and as most workouts go, sweating is part of the process. I have satisfaction knowing that the non-slip surface will be an added feature that helps to prevent a fall or injury. As we age, this becomes more & more important. Non-slip surface is the only way to go. I did see that some evidence of staining is left behind on the mat. I wish that weren’t the case, but it is hand washable. I also carry some wipes to wipe it down when my workout is done. Hand washing once per week is also something that I do. My recommendation is that skin lotions, sunscreens, etc not be used just prior to your routine on the mat. That will help keep it looking nicer, longer. Also, storage and portability are hugely important to me. When we travel, I like to take my mat with me so rolling it up and keeping it rolled up for travel is so easy with the included storage bag. Can you believe it, a storage bag? I really like this feature!Longevity is also an important feature to me. This mat has a 10 Year Warranty! Try to find that in the competition. I know that if it doesn’t live up to the expressed representations or begins to breakdown or lose its elasticity, that I can get it replaced at no expense to me. That’s peace-of-mind. In summary, this mat is superior and, in my opinion, a great value for your money. I believe this ZEESA NA PREMIUM YOGA MAT by PROSPORTA SWEEDEN has earned a full FIVE STARS!!

    Way too expensive
It’s good quality but is really very expensive

  3. RangerY

Excellently made, comparable to other higher end mats, 10 year warranty
My initial impressions are that this is a very good higher end mass market mat (in the $100 US range). If you are new to yoga and not familiar with higher end mass market yoga mats, I’d say you could not go wrong with this mat. However, the rest of the review may have too many detail as I’m going to compare this mat to two other high end mats. If you’ve been practicing yoga for some time, you may be familiar with some of points of comparison with other mats in this price range. This Zeesa Na mat piqued my interest because it is made of latex/rubber and has a 10 year warranty. I only know of one other mass market (I am excluding niche brands mat sell for more than $200) that has a 10 year warranty. That would be a German brand yoga mat which has a brand name based on a frog which starts with “m”. That mat “m” mat is very good, one of my teacher has used hers for approximately 15 years. The only reservations I have regarding the “m” mat is that that mat is made with toxic man-made materials in the manufacturing process. In contrast this Swedish Zeesa Na mat uses natural latex rubber. The Zeesa mat has a similar surface top feel to the hands as the “m” brand mat. The Zeesa Na mat is thinner and less cushioning than the “m” mat. If you like the soft and mildly grippy surface of the “m” mat you’ll like the feel of the Zeesa Na mat.The other popular high end mat is American made and the brand name (named after a stone) starts with the letter “j”. The “j” brand mats are made with 100% latex formed around an inner core of materials that gives the “j” latex mats structural integrity. I prefer and use “j” brand mats. The Zeesa Na mats are similar in thickness to the “j” mat. Both these mats are heavy when rolled up as latex has some weight. I really like the two tone color of the Zeesa Na, but I am not able to detect an inner core layer of support material (maybe it’s not needed). The “j” brand mats have a textured and much grippier surface. Your preference for the degree of stickiness of your mat is individual to you. The “j” brand mats with almost daily use, hold up well for about 5 years. The Zeesa Na mats appear to be providing benefits from the high points of both of these other brands. If buying American made is important to you, then you might want to avoid a European mat. The Zeesa Na mat, is well made and the surface should be easy to wipe off and clean. The bottom of this mat has a textured surface to cling well to the floor. This mat comes with its own carry bag. Which otherwise would cost you at a minimum $12 for a bag. The Zeesa Na mat, similar to the other two mats I reference are all much superior to the lower end mat market foam mats. I highly recommend developing yoga adherents to invest in a quality mat. The cushioning power and increased gripping ability will improve your practice. This mat comes well packaged and it would make a wonderful gift.

    Wonderful yoga mat!
This is a fantastic yoga mat. Throughout my practice over the years, I have been through a variety of mats, from cheaper ones, to middle of the road types, to the nicer quality onesI have to say that this mat is great! No odd or chemical scents when opening. The first thing that sticks out to me was how comfortable the may is. It’s thick and durable. It doesn’t appear to be crazy thick, as it’s not very heavy to me either.Easy to roll out and back up .The biggest factor for me is comfort. This makes a big difference for my back and for my knees. There is extra support and cushion that absorbs any extra pressure. This is great for yoga or any type of stretching etc .It comes with a carry bag strap which I think is great and makes it easier to carry with you, or to store how you wish.I love this mat and definitely the one that I will be using for a while.Great gift for any yogi!
