Great quality
I love this cork mat and design! Definitely great quality and packaging. The photo was misleading which is why I gave it 4 stars. I thought the straps were included but it is not.

Not thick but sufficient for me
Pros:Eco-friendly: Cork is a natural, renewable resource that is harvested from the bark of cork oak trees.Durable: Cork is a very durable material that can withstand a lot of wear and tear.Grippy: Cork yoga mats are known for their grippy surface, which can help you to stay stable during your practice.Easy to clean: Cork is naturally antimicrobial and resists mold and mildew growth. This makes cork yoga mats easy to clean with just a damp cloth.Cons:Price: Cork yoga mats are typically more expensive than yoga mats made from other materials, such as PVC or TPE.Thinner than some mats: Cork yoga mats are not as thick as some other yoga mats, which may not provide as much cushioning for your joints. Not as comfortable for some: Some people find that cork yoga mats can be a bit rough on the skin, especially for sensitive skin. Here are some additional things to consider before you buy a cork yoga mat:Your budget: Cork yoga mats are more expensive than some other types of yoga mats.Your yoga practice: If you do a lot of vinyasa yoga or other high-impact yoga styles, you may want a thicker mat that provides more cushioning.Your skin sensitivity: If you have sensitive skin, you may want to try a different type of yoga mat, such as one made from TPE or PVC.Overall, cork yoga mats are a good option for eco-conscious yogis who are looking for a durable and grippy mat. However, they are more expensive than some other types of yoga mats and may not be as comfortable for everyone.

High quality mat with good traction
This cork mat is good quality. It’s heavier than your average yoga mat but it’s also much more durable than the average yoga mat. The cork is not slippery at all and the mat has just enough padding. I tend to like more padding than an average yoga mat. This kind of feels like a very thick mouse pad — and that actually works. I think the sun imagery on it is inspiring. It comes with a carry strap that is adjustable. Even if you don’t roll the mat up tightly, the strap adjusts to whatever size the mat is rolled to. That’s a nice little feature. Overall, I’m very happy with this yoga mat.

Finally a NONTOXIC mat!
I was searching for a non-toxic yoga mat for quite some time. After a ton of research, I finally purchased a yoga mat only to find it had a prop 65 warning on it. I returned that mat and gave up trying to find one. By a lucky chance, I came across this mat made out of cork material. The description said nontoxic but I was still skeptical due to my previous experience. I contacted the manufacturer and asked if there was a prop 65 warning on it and I was relieved to find out there was none. When I received the mat, I could tell right away that it was a high quality mat. The weight of the mat was heavy, but light enough to easily carry over my shoulder. There are straps that come with it so it can easily slip inside the straps and be slung over my arm to transport it from one location to another. The mat is not super thick so my feet are able to maintain a stable balance while doing different positions on it. There are a few positions I wish the surface was a bit thicker. When I am on my knees I can feel the lack of extra support, but I realize the trade off of stability over comfort. The bottom of the mat has a good non-skid grip so it stays in place when I am doing HIIT workouts or yoga poses. The design on the mat definitely has a yoga vibe to it. The mat easily rolls up and is not hard to transport to the studio. I have only been using this mat for about a week so I do not know how long it will last. I will update my review regarding the long term usage as time goes on. Cleaning the item is not too hard: When I need to clean my mat, I simply wipe it down with a wet cloth. I use this product for many different activities including stretching, yoga, HIIT workouts, and strength movements. There are a variety of movements that can be done on this surface. I am happy with the performance since it provides a stable surface for my stretches and workouts. Based on the high quality nontoxic material, the price is fair.

Good quality but a bit heavy
This is a good-quality cork yoga mat. I like the fact that it is made out of sustainable material. It is well made and beautiful to look at. The surface has a good grip and feel and is good for bare feet. I also like the nonslip on the underside, so it can be used on any floor surface. There are a couple of downsides for me, however, only due to my personal preferences. One is that it is a bit heavy, so this mat may not be ideal to carry around. Also, while it has good cushioning, I would not call it âplushâ as it is only 5 millimeters as most of the other mats. I still found it too thin to use on the hard floor surfaces, such as hardwood or tile. I used it on an area rug and carpet, and it was fine.Overall, this yoga mat is well made and is worth it for those who are looking for a more sustainable substitute.
