    A wonderful and unique self-healing resource!
    Yoga has an incredible healing power… But I think most people think about that in a very general sense but have no idea that you can use specific practices to address unique health concerns. That’s where this book really shines and is so unique. There are plenty of yoga theory and practice books out there… But maybe none give you the specific depth and breadth of wisdom that this one does for addressing specific needs. From back pain, to insomnia, to anxiety…this book shows you how to remedy it with yoga.The actual book itself is extremely high quality with beautiful, clear demostration photos, and you can open it and lay it flat which is nice. The author is an amazing source of knowledge for yogi healing remedies and she does a great job at giving you step by step instructions for you helping yourself feel better, all with just movement, breathing, and mindfulness! Its an invaluable resource that should be on every person’s bookshelf, “yogi” or not. I love it and am sure I will refer to it for years to come.

    I Love This Book!
    I love this book! I have been practicing yoga off and on for years but I have never been able to create a practice at home on my own. Now, thanks to The Yoga Healer, I feel inspired and confident that I can! It is beautifully written (and humorous) and a pleasure to look at. I love that there are short effective practices as well as longer sequences for when I have the time. It is also the perfect gift book! I can give this to people who are new and those who are seasoned yogis. It’s also the right size to carry with me on trips. I am in love.

    Christine is such an amazing teacher and her instruction through out the book is …
    This book has helped me in so many ways, it is a staple in my living room! I use it when I’m busy playing/chasing with my son and need to get some stretches in and don’t have time to go to a yoga class. It has also helped with a lower back injury that I’ve had for years, the poses really help strengthen my core and get me back in shape. Can’t say enough how much it has improved my life! Christine is such an amazing teacher and her instruction through out the book is easy to follow for beginners and advanced yogis too. Thank you Christine!!!!

    A jewel for the yoga teacher to the beginning yogi!
    This book is a gem, filled with such beautiful and easy to follow detail! As a yoga teacher I am using it to help me create more thoughtful sequences for my classes. If you are a teacher, it’s a no brainer! The pranayama and mudras are such a bonus for me and have helped me to get clear on how to instruct breath work for the beginner. Also, Christine ties in remedies for emotional upset and guides us to create a personal yoga practice to support the spirit. Amen!

The best part about this book is that it divides all of the yoga poses by the ailment they address. Ailments range from physical, to emotional, and there is even a section to unlock financial prosperity. This book is easy to understand for a newly and potent enough for a pro. I LOVE this book.

    Christine Burke beautifully expresses how to integrate yoga tools into your life. Her compassion and expertise shine through the different practices. Whether you have 3 minutes, 20 minutes, or an hour, she empowers you to weave them consistently into your routine. As a yoga practitioner of 20 years, I learned wonderful insights through The Yoga Healer and was so impacted that I recommended the book to my mom and to friends who are just starting their yoga journey.     Wonderful Resource!
    I love this book! As a recent 200hr teacher training graduate, I have turned to it many times for myself and my students when I need a quick reference for a specific issue. It also clearly explains the basic poses and sequences, so you can easily piece together entire sequences of varying lengths tailored to your needs. This book is well laid-out, easy to understand (with great pictures!) and well-written with Christine’s signature warmth and wit. Suitable for all levels. A really great resource!

    Simple and Inspirational!
    Christine Burke’s teachings are full of wisdom and flow beautifully both in her yoga classes and her writings. They speak to the heart and gives warmth and uplift whenever I need that extra lift.I find this book both useful as a practitioner and teacher. I love that the poses are categorized in different remedies. It’s the yoga book I reference when I need inspiration in my sequencing.

    I thought this would have more yogic philosophy or spiritual insight especially in the ‘Remedies for the Mind’ section, but it was essentially just yoga poses. Maybe good for a beginner to yoga but for those who have been practicing a while this book doesn’t add much.
