    This is an excellent book.
I am teaching over 10 yoga classes a week and was feeling uninspired. This book was the well I was looking for when I didn’t have time to go to a yoga class myself. It’s wonderful; inspirational. A great book for students and teachers. 🙂

    Truly Inspiring
I have only skimmed the surface of the treasures available to those who teach AND practice yoga, which are made so available in this book. The author has gathered and compiled teachings, asanas, metaphors, ideas, and stories that are artfully woven into this glorious book and teaching guide. Seroiusly, open to any page and prepare for a nugget of gold which can be shared or can enrich personal practice. I acknowledge the true gift that has been offered here to teachers and their students. The format makes the teachings very accessable. This book has become one of my top helpers in my own practice and the style in which I teach.

    Powerful Tool for Yoga Teachers
Wow! This book just arrived to me today and I couldn’t wait to open it up and dive in. I only had time for the first chapter before getting ready to go teach a yoga class. Gabrielle Harris’ book – The Language of Yin – is (maybe was?) my all-time favorite teaching tool. I use it for reference all the time. The pages are worn and notes have been added. So, I was thrilled to learn about her new book The Inspired Yoga Teacher. Her writing is beautiful. She is clear and concise. She clearly loves yoga and teaching. Go get it! It’s so good.

Beautifully inspiring guide to offering authentic yoga practices
After almost 14 years as a yoga teacher, I sometimes find myself struggling to be creative and inspired – to connect to that inner flame of creativity that will help me offer the best to my students. Gabrielle’s book has recharged my own personal practice, reconnected me to my creative and curious side, and offered hundreds of ideas that are nourishing, authentic, compassionate, and fully in line with deep yogic principles and a yoga lifestyle. From practices to poses to pranayama to poetry, Gabrielle weaves a tapestry of great beauty that will inspire any yoga teacher and indeed, any yogi, to explore their practice in new and unique ways. I cannot recommend this book enough and will be adding it to my teacher training offerings in the coming years as required reading.
