Yoga continues to be a growth industry with an estimated thirty million people in North America now practicing either privately or in most cases with a class. Though the yoga market is fractured by the great number of competing schools and philosophies, what they all have in common is the ending of the session with a period of relaxation coupled with inspiring readings.
Soul to Soul fills just this need with a beautiful collection of 150 inspiring perfect-length readings plus tens of quotes that are just right for ending a yoga class or private session. Honoring many spiritual traditions, it’s the perfect teaching tool or gift for yoga teachers and practitioners, or for anyone seeking uplifting messages for any occasion. Includes writing by Swami Kripalu, Thich Nhat Hanh, Deepak Chopra, Eckart Tolle, H.H the Dalai Lama, Don Miguel Ruiz, quotes from Rumi, Hafiz, Gandhi, Meister Eckart, Lao Tzu, as well as selections from the Bhagavad Gita, and the Yoga Sutras of Pantajali. Unlike most books intended for yoga teachers, Soul to Soul has strong appeal to teachers in nearly any tradition, and to a wider range of their students.
John Mundahl has been a yoga teacher and practitioner for over thirty-six years. He was a resident at the original Kripalu Yoga Ashram in Sumneytown, Pennsylvania, from 1977–1981, the four years of Swami Kripalu’s remarkable stay. He is the author of twelve books, including From the Heart of the Lotus, the Teaching Stories of Swami Kripalu. He lives in St. Peter, Minnesota.

Great Book for Yoga class
I have been reading this to my students in Savasana. It has beautiful poems that resonate and inspire us all. I definitely recommend to the Yoga teacher to share with their students either before or after class

Buy this book.!!
I love this book. I buy the books, because I feel like when you open a Kindle or Nook a book dies. Put the songs, poems and prayers, a powerful, meaningful, and sometimes downright frightening. But it is an excellent excellent book.

Good Read
This is a nice little book. A fellow yoga instructor recommended it for reads at the end of yoga class. Any of the stories from monks or Budda are very thought provoking.

A Beautiful Read for Ones Journey to Releasing Those Emotions
I started Yoga a few months ago, and one of our instructors read passages from this treatise, during our final relaxation period of the session. I was so moved by some of the passages that I just needed a copy for myself. Each Morning I read a few passages during my own morning wake-up session. The passages are short and easy to read. Moving and Invoking Feelings while helping you to calm those emotions that want to run unbridled. I typically just flip randomly to a reading, and engage my mind and lit my soul drift. At the end of each reading is a quotation from many notable dignitaries in all walks of life. I have read many passages repeatedly and always seem to find something new inside the words that add to the treasure of the book. I would highly recommend this book to any beginner like myself, looking for soothing thoughts to read.

I was looking for a book with small readings to end my yoga class with. Well I found it! So many options to use. Mostly positive short readings. Poems, stories, quotes, and prayers (of all religions).
