Big bang for your buck
This product is an inexpensive product that can help relax the muscles of the back and other areas of the body. Was relaxing to me, and I also gave it to somebody that was having a sciatica flareup, and it helped her.

I enjoy using this mat since it helps me relax without just dozing off. The pressure is just right and you can certainly feel the difference after about 10 minutes of rest.My cats also really love this mat. They enjoy rolling on it whenever I bring it out.

Helps Me Sleep!
I bought this mat because I have trigger point neck pain and nothing seems to work. When I ordered this my neck had been hurting for days and I was basically digging everything into my neck to massage it. The pointy spikes don’t hurt and I’m a pretty sensitive gal so don’t be afraid of the spikes. They just feel weird so don’t let that stop you from buying this. I’ve tried it with clothes off and clothes on. I prefer clothes off but you can’t always do that:) Anyway, the first day I used it I fell asleep in just a few minutes. I woke up 20 minutes later. I felt good:) I couldn’t tell a difference in my neck pain but I continued to use it daily and whenever I thought about it. Every time I have used it, I end up falling asleep which is weird for me as I can NEVER take naps or fall asleep. This is a huge plus and now I lay down on it to take a nap. I slowly noticed my neck pain subsiding and after about 2 weeks, my neck pain was completely gone. This is neck pain I’ve had on and off for years and usually takes a deep tissue massage to go away. So I got lazy and stopped using it since my pain had gone away and one morning I woke up with pain again. I started using the mat again and it is going away. SO, having said all this, the mat works for me, very well. I’m really happy with it and clearly believe it has been beneficial in helping my neck pain go away. By the way, I lay over the pillow with my neck curved around it and the back top of my head touches the floor. I would like to try this for my plantar fasciitis as I think it would help heal it as well. Also, I had a really bad sinus infection and I just couldn’t breath, I used this and it gave me temporary relief of the pressure in my sinuses each time so I know it’s making the blood flow and moving things around. I would say it has a lot of great benefits for many ailments. I know it has immediate relaxing benefits because I use it as my nap mat all the time now. Very happy with this product!

BEST PURCHASE EVER!
My lower back was in complete spasm for almost a month, and as a result other parts of my back started tightening as well. This is not comfortable when you first start using it, but OMG it does the trick. My brother bought me a TENS for the muscle, but that only treats 1 area: this gets the entire back, neck, upper shoulders because of the pillow (if you place it correctly), and buttocks (I’m 5’2″). When I really need it, I could be on it for 40 min. I don’t recommend staying longer than that per go tho – 30 is probably a good # – because your back gets indented from the spikes and that is also uncomfortable for a little bit. This is worth ever penny.

Surprisingly effective
I gave this a three on thickness and comfort, but those things are irrelevant for the purpose of this little plastic bed of nails. When I first opened up the package I was disappointed because the mat was shorter than I expected, and honestly, it looked kind of cheap. HOWEVER, I love this mat and the pillow I use even more frequently for neck pain and tension headaches. I am a very large woman and decided to use this laying in bed rather than on the hard wood floors so I would have a bit more give. It takes a bit of practice getting on and off comfortably, but once Ive settled onto the billion little stickers, it’s amazing how quickly the initial discomfort turns into a deeply relaxing experience. And the pillow is a little miracle worker in it’s own right, I get a lot of tension headaches and I find the pillow helps alleviate those even if its just behind my head in a recliner. But I really enjoy spending half an hour using both together. It also forces you into a meditative state really quickly as you give in to the pressure of all those sharp little points digging into your flesh. Once my session is over I not only feel physically better, but my mood is elevated. So, if your looking to get started on a more holistic pain management journey, I’d give this a try. It’s affordable, more durable than it looks upon first inspection and is really the perfect size to get your entire back. And no, the sharp little nubbins do not break your skin, even if you are heavy. I would definitely buy this product again.

I got this because I had a sore and tense neck and upper back. Won’t lie, it hurts when you first lay down, but after a couple of minutes, the pain is replaced by a pure feeling of relaxation. I found myself closing my eyes and relaxing. When I got up, I could definitely feel the difference! It has helped with my chronic neck and upper back pain. Definitely worth it

Love this mat. I was worried about the spikes being too sharp but they feel amazing and there are so many spikes … which is awesome. I worried about the size of this mat because after purchasing it initially & going back to read the ad, the size looked too small. I read the reviews (I’ve determined it is most important to read the reviews) & someone said the mat was bigger than indicated and it is. It’s about 3′ and the quality is great. Ordered one for my daughter. The price is amazing.
