If you’re looking for a comfortable, thick and big enough yoga mat, this is it! I’ve had it for a few weeks and I couldn’t be happier with it. I had been looking for a nice thick yoga mat for a while, until I came across this one. It was definitely the right choice.This is only a few of the many things I love about it:- it is non-toxic; because there are no strong smells coming out of it while trying to meditate or work out.- it is eco-friendly; because I care about my environmental footprint.- it is pretty stable as is, but finding the mat grips included in the packet was such a nice touch (so was the towel). I really wanted it to be non-slip on the top as well as the bottom.The quality is great and worth the price. I’m so happy with it, I even bought the exercise version for my best friend for her birthday!

really non-slip — good shock absorption
I’ve been having a problem with my yoga mats recently that my hands and feet slip on them. This one is *really* non-slip. This has made a HUGE difference in how easy it is to do the postures.Also, it is noticeably more shock absorbent than my previous matsI really like that it is 4′ wide. As I’ve gotten less flexible with age, I’ve found that I need more space. This is particularly true with the “wheel” pose, where I have to space my feet farther apart than the width of more conventional mats.I did get a fairly good mat that was 6’x6′, but that’s really cumbersome in terms of the amount of floor space it takes up.This thing comes with non-slip corners. I haven’t tried those yet. It hasn’t seemed necessary.This also comes with a towel. The towel, curiously, is shaped like a narrow yoga mat. I haven’t used it yet. I might use it to put on top of the mat for naps — not sure.It’s really nice that there’s a carrying case as well. So far I haven’t carried it anywhere, but I certainly might.They’re asking for a durability rating. Well how am I supposed to know? I’ve only had the thing for a few days. Still, it seems solid, from what I can tell. The bottom is a different color from the top. I’m not sure what that’s about. I suppose eventually it might delaminate — but so far it seems good.

This mat is the bomb for floor work!
The 9mm thickness gives just the right amount of bounce and firmness I need for my stretching exercises. It has made floor work far more comfortable!

Very comfortable mat that doesn’t move.
This is the best mat I’ve used for doing workouts at home. It’s wide enough to cover me (6’1″) whatever exercise I’m doing, whether standing or laying down.The mat comes with a set of stickies to put at the four corners to keep it from moving around, but this mat does NOT move, even having it on a hardwood floor. I also like the slightly better thickness (9mm) vs what most other mats use (7mm).Finally, at a discounted price of $99 (vs most usual prices for 4×6 mats of $120+), it was a great value for the price. Very happy with this purchase!

Worth the price – huge upgrade
No issues with shipping, and packaging was reasonable.The mat is huge, which I love as a 6’2″ person that does yoga. Some poses require more lateral width, and this provides that.I was initially concerned how slippery the mat was; my hands were slowly sliding during poses. But I suspect it was just oils related to manufacturing. I applied a general purpose cleaning spray, then wiped it down. That fixed it completely.Another nice thing is that this mat has volume, and the material compresses to dig your hands and feet into the mat. It is more comfortable and stable than most generic mats.It is an expensive mat and I was nervous about the purchase – however, I feel the price was well worth it.

Decent for the money
This mat is comfortable for barefoot workouts and for higher impact like kickboxing and HIIT. Unfortunately, after 6 months, it is starting to flake and fall apart.

Durable and perfectly big
This exercise mat is great! I wanted to use it a few weeks before I wrote this review and Iâm very happy with this mat. I have trained with weights (carefully), bodyweight workouts and decompression. The mat has perfect thickness and allowes me to easily keep my balance and at the same time dampen the hardness from the ground. It is also very durable, our husky has ran over it a few times (while I was cleaning it, sigh) and not even a hint of a tear or any damage. Iâm very happy with this mat.Oh, and the towel is so perfect for my dog after her baths! What a great bonus!

A Great Buy
This mat was ordered before I got married May, 2021. After the wedding and starting a life together a few months past before I actually took it out of the packaging. My husband suggested we should do a couple’s workout routine together to which I responded, “Challenge accepted.” My only drawback was that I didn’t want to exercise on my area rug. No worries! I remembered that I had this mat to unpackage. My husband and I were both delighted to find the bonus features out of the package. We rolled the mat out over the rug. The size of the mat worked well for both of us to do our workout side by side. My husband said he likes my mat better than his. Since we placed the mat over a rug the mat did not move during our exercise. It was comfortable. One of us wore socks and the other was barefoot, yet, neither of us slipped. My husband and I agree that the Sensu mat was a great buy.

After purchasing the Sensu Large Yoga Mat I have been able to completely update my at-home workouts as I finally have a surface I can kneel on without being uncomfortable! The surface is really soft without being slick and cleaning it has really been an easy once a week task. I used to hate doing pushups because I couldnât have my arms and feet on the matt at the same time but the size of the Sensu is just perfect. The additional towel was also a lifesaver, I have never used a microfibre towel before but it dries so quick I donât know how I have lived without it! I purchased this for my stretching routine post workout as I do not enjoy my sit down / lay down stretches on a cold concrete floor. This mat is great, enough give that I can kneel on it with it on top of my concrete floor, yet it is firm enough that I don’t have to worry about rolling an ankle or wrist. I have not had any slippage issues so I have not had a need to use the extra included floor grippers but they do grab something fierce! I love the size of this mat, I do not have to shift my body around like I used to on a yoga mat, now I can just go from one stretch position to the next. Great mat!

Size of mat is perfect. I put it on top of the same size exercise mat for extra stability and grip. I have knee pain and I found even standing on this mat gave my joints relief. Itâs also easy to clean and put away

I love my new Sensu Large Yoga Mat. I bought the 6′ x 4′ x 8mm size and it is perfect for type of yoga and stretching I do on the floor. It grips the floor very well and feels supportive for my feet and back. It also came with a hot yoga towel which is high quality. The carrying case and velcro straps to hold the mat rolled up complete the package. I am very impressed. I should have bought this years ago.
