I did not know what to expect since I had never had this oil before. But to me, it smells wonderful it kind of smells like lilacs or Lily of the valley.

Yup it has the Vanilla smell
This arrived in one piece and was securely packed. I used this in my diffuser and added an extra drop instead of the recommended one. It did not smell like chemical vanilla or anything to me. So, if you want that yum yum vanilla smell, try this.

Not Peppermint!!!
Maybe this is the essence of peppermint, because it’s Not peppermint. It smells like someone took a drop of peppermint oil, washed out a container as thoroughly as possible, and you can still barley smell a lingering scent of what’s left over… emphasis on Barely.
