Interesting Yoga mat
This yoga mat is interestingFirst of all the shape is different; one end is rounded; I’m not sure why one end and not both? but that’s the shape. It’s longer than the ad says, which I figured at the price point. It’s a full length yoga mat.First whiff out of the box there was a strong rubber smell but it disappeared pretty quickly and upon using it, I don’t smell anything offensive or off-putting.I got the 5mm which is firm as I anticipated and gives good protection for any boney areas. No worries of being thrown off balance due to the mat “squish”. This is solid with firm cushion. The cork is printed with a pretty pattern. The first mat I got had an irregular stripe but the replacement mat was as it should be and looks lovely.I’m not sure how the cork is adhered to the rubber base but it is either cork blended with something or cork that’s adhered to a rubber base….there’s no mention of the process so I’m not certain other than to say it’s comfortable to be on and so far is wearing fine.On the skin it has a very very soft and velvety feel which is delightfulI normally keep my mats out because I have a dedicated workout space so I haven’t rolled it up a lot.The one I had to send back rolled up easily (I had to do it 2x and didn’t notice any problem whatsoever ; it seemed pliable )This is a pretty expensive mat. Initial impressions are good but time and use will tell if it has the longevity factor. The cork seems strongly bonded on and, again, pliable but not crackyCare for the cork itself is something I’ll need to investigate because there are no instructions specifically on how to that come with the product.Overall, after a bit of a mix up on getting my replacement for the defective one; and inconsistent communication from the seller; I’m pleased so far.I’m all for a mat that will stand the test of time and give lots of pleasing comfort for multiple fitness use.The most unique thing about this one is the velvety texture of the cork on my feet and the pretty design print.I’m hopeful I’ll be able to enjoy it for a long while.

Corky
This cork mat is pretty nice. I got the 5 mm model so it is very thick and comfortable. It’s not slippery at all and has good grip for doing work on. The graphic design is pretty neat too.

Non-Slip, Minimal Padding
Lots to like with this mat, though there are some trade-offs like minimal padding. The print looks nice and the cork feels great against skin (even the face). The mat is very sturdy: hands and feet don’t slip on the cork top and the rubber bottom keeps it from slipping on the floor. While listings for some alternatives say that their mats can’t be folded, I’m happy to say that this cork seems to be surviving a fold-and-roll technique using a soft bend vs. a sharp fold. (This is about folding the mat before rolling so that the body side stays clean on the inside and the floor side stays on the outside.)However, be prepared that the natural rubber is noticeably heavier than basic mats made from artificial materials.Rather annoyingly, this mat does NOT include a carrying strap. I’ve borrowed one from another mat but will eventually want something wider due to the weight.Perhaps most important, there’s very little padding with the 3mm version, making some positions and movements rather uncomfortable. When they offer other prints, I’ll likely move up to the thicker version.

Premium yoga mat
Beautiful design and definitely high quality thick cork yoga mat. I’d shop around if you feel iffy about spending so much on a mat but it’s worth it so far.
