    Fun and hard work
    I purchased this for a small group of senior women to workout togather. Everyone loves them! We really get a good workout. Curtis goes at the right pace giving a great low impact cardio course.

    Wonderful exercise set for bad knees
    This is a great and fun set of dvds that really give me a good workout. I have bad knees, so I have to avoid impact exercises. I wasn’t sure how challenging a seated workout would be, but it really was! Even though I have been regularly walking 2 to 4 miles a day, and doing some strength training, yoga, and modified pilates a couple times a week, there were some sets on the Simply Seated and the Strength dvds that I couldn’t complete. Of course, that’s good for two reasons: it shows where I am weak and need work, and it also lets me monitor improvement by eventually getting through the entire workout.Another thing I really love about Curtis’s workouts is that they include balance and coordination, which can help to prevent falls.Curtis is a good instructor and makes the workouts fun.There is a four-week chart that lays out a suggested exercise schedule, which I found useful. The nutrition guides were ok – basic stuff, but ok for a quick review. The resistance band seems adequate for the exercises presented.Overall, one of the best exercise sets for seniors or people with bad knees or backs. I even bought some of the single dvds for other members in my family. Highly recommended!

    safe and sure to be effective
    First, it arrived quickly. Second, after reviewing all that it contained, I find it will be safe for me to do and sure to be effective. I’ve been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and it affects all my weight bearing joints, which have to be replaced over time. So far, I’ve had a right hip replacement and lower back fusion. Next, I will be getting my left hip and knee replaced, mid back operated on and lastly, my shoulders replaced. Needless to say, this all leads to muscle atrophy and balance issues, which, from what I have seen on these videos, will help me enormously. I will do my utmost to follow them each day and will keep Curtis informed of my progress. Thank you, Curtis, for providing a truly senior-friendly program and for your energy, smile and love for seniors.

    Great workouts and instructor but DVDS cumbersome to use
    These are good workouts with a great and personable instructor. They are clearly for seniors or beginners, but I think you can get a good workout no matter what your fitness level is. I am 66 and in pretty good shape (e.g., I walk 5 miles at a fast pace), but these workouts have a lot of good core and balance work. The Florida settings are attractive. My only complaint (why I gave four stars) is that the DVD menus are cumbersome to use. You can’t select multiple workouts at once, and you can’t advance easily from one workout to the next. It’s like the DVDs were less than professionally made or something.

    Chair exercise
    I can’t stand up very long & I can do exercises by sitting in the chair. You still get a very physical workout by just sitting down in chair. Your muscles don’t get weak

    No snack options
    Nice price and did have what claimed. Not sure what to do for a snack with this plan. I will start doing the exercises. I’m limited to what I am allowed to do. The chair exercises will work good for me.

    Impressively effective
    impressively effectiveEven doing the exercises in the chair, which may not seem to be effective, it is. Excellent . I gave it to my mother who is in her 60’s, and to motivate her I started the program with her… it was entertaining and effective. It is low impact for the body, but with high benefits.

    We are 68 and 70 respectively and the weight has been slowly increasing, along with a couch potato mentality.Along came these wonderful inspirational DVD by Curtis Adams. He joins us on a daily basis now and the couch has lost it’s hollow, we both have a new lease on life and our waist lines are shrinking along with our aches and pains.These DVD are easy to follow you can stand or sit down, each day brings you new exercises and Curtis smiling face . No fitness level is forgotten and he brings his aged team along to show you how its done.If you don’t know where to start a fitness regime and are a senior or just need to give yourself a push these DVD are the answer.
