Painful to start, but felt much better after
I work at a desk all the time now, and I really don’t do enough exercising. My shoulders are constantly tense and my back just hurts. Someone suggested trying this out and I was skeptical. I started with just laying it on the bed, and then laying skin-to-mat for 20 minutes. It was painful at first, but by the end of the 20 minutes I felt pretty good. I plan to work up to laying it directly on the floor in the future, but for now, I’m happy with the relief I got.

Good quality
This mat is good quality, not great. The foam feels a bit cheap, but everything else is great. By cheap I mean that I expect for it to collapse at some point and not return to it’s unburdened form.

At first I was a little skeptical on trying this when a friend recommended it to me. But oh my I am so happy I decided to. Had to take it slow at first but after my first 20 mins I felt relief in my back.

Very interesting, seems to help for a beginner like me
I’ve never done anything like this before, never done acupuncture or acupressure or used these massage mats at all so I was curious to give it a try.Basically it is a mat in a drawstring bag that the mat rolls up and fits in. The mat rolls out and has tons of these circular plastic pieces with sharp points on them. The instructions say that for most people that you should use it with a small layer of clothing since it can be overwhelming. It definitely can be.I first laid down on it with my bare back and it was intense for a bit. After a minute it gets better and honestly when I stood up I could what felt like increased circulation which is good. Loosed up my back a bit as well. I then tried walking on it with bare feet. This is very intense and I feel like it gets close to puncturing when all my weight is on my feet instead of spread out on my back. Walking on it I definitely prefer thin socks to wear when walking on it.Honestly this thing seems to work well coming from a complete beginner to all this. In my opinion it is on the expensive side but it seems decent quality for the most part and is a relatively good size for most people. I will continue using this to see if it helps my back and neck which can be tight a bit. I would recommend this if you are willing to spend this much to have a good acupressure mat, it’s a solid one!

I am not impressed!
This product is advertised as a mat with spikes that target pressure points, but it seems that aspect was completely overlooked in the design. There are no pressure points; it’s simply a mat with spikes. In my opinion, it requires a complete redesign. Unfortunately, since I cannot return it, it’s destined for the trash.

The value is not there for me
The accupuncture points are very sharp so you need to be careful when applying pressure but once you are on the mat with even wight distribution it works well. Bloodflow increase is noticeable to your skin after a few minutes and it works as it should. For the cost, there are much less expensive mats out there that achive the same and have equal quality. The foam in this mat feels cheap and I don’t think it will hold up over time.
