Everything you want in a travel mat
This mat is beautiful, easy to clean, and it packs up so easily. It’s a little heavier than I expected, but thats because of the high quality backing that makes this a true travel yoga mat and not just a thick yoga towel. I’ve used it as a travel mat and as an extra layer/non-slip surface on top of a regular yoga mat, and it surpassed my expectations. It doesn’t have much cushion, obviously, but it has enough to protect your palms and such from abrasive surfaces like concrete or splinters/etc. I highly recommend packing this in your carry-on for long days of airport travel- its lovely to be able to stretch between flights without having to come into much contact with the airport floor 🙂

Pretty & Great if Used For Yoga
Thinner than I thought it would be. Nice if you are using for its intended purpose: yoga. I was looking for more of an exercise mat but this is nice to lay on top of the nasty gym mats. Very pretty and great for travel.

Just took this on a flight to Les Mills LIVE fitness convention event in Orlando & it folded up perfectly into my carry-on. It might bunch up on you once in a while like most mats, but it is very durable and GORGEOUS!! The back of the mat sticks well, but like I said, one in a while it might move depending on what your surface is and the movement you may be doing. Remember, there is no significant padding, just the non-slip backing. Great to also throw over your non-traveling yoga mat at home to spice things up. I’m a fitness instructor so I love putting this one over my plain mat.

The mat came and seems like it was covered in what looked like human hair and some dog hair. I bought it new but looks like it was used.

Bought this mat to take to Mexico on a Yoga retreat. Trying it out before leave as a layer on top of my regular mat, I have found it to be lightweight, easy to fold, roll, and carry, and the dots down the middle help me stay centered!The one thing I am still working on is that I find it kind of slippery… not so much so it hot yoga, when my sweaty hands seem to have a better grip on the mat. Is there anything I can do to make it less slippery????Overall, I LOVE this mat, and I feel it will be perfect for travel!

Light, durable, beautiful!
I love my Plyopic mat so much I bought a second one. Now the proud owner of the cosmos and rainbow geometric mats! I manage a yoga teacher training program and have had all sorts of mats over the years. Lugging around a sturdy but super heavy mat is just not my jam these days. These mats are perfect for their lightness and durability. If thereâs one complaint, (and itâs more my issue than others), is when you have dry, cold hands like I do, you may slip some on the design side; itâs apparent this mat can handle moisture. Just flip it to the grip side, and youâre good to go!

It feels a bit heavy..but it’s sturdy . And had a smell when it came but I sprayed a bit of vinegar and lemongrass on it and aired it…fine. love it. Would buy again.

Ich habe mir diese Matte nun bestellt, nachdem ich mich im Vinyasa Yoga auf einer dicken Gymnastikmatte erstmal aufprobiert habe und daran gefallen gefunden habe.Meine Anforderungen waren:- gut auf Reisen transportierbar- nicht zu schwer- RUTSCHFEST! sowohl auf dem Boden aber vorallem rutschfest für schwitzige Hände ( ich rutsche bei Positionen wie dem Herabschauenden Hund sehr schnell weg bei meiner normalen Matte)- ich muss kein Handtuch mehr drauf legen zwecks wegrutschen mit den Händen- hübsches Aussehen- gute Qualität- angemessener PreisFazit:Nach ein paar Tagen Nutzung kann ich sagen, dass ich zufrieden mit der Matte bin.Ich rutsche wenn ich feuchte Hände habe nicht weg (bei trockenen sieht es schon anders aus, aber das sind bei mir eh nur die ersten 2 Minuten :-D). Auch liegt sie ganz fest auf dem Boden und es klappen keine Ecken nach oben nach dem Ausrollen.Sie ist breit genug und lang genug. Das Material ist sehr angenehm. Auf der Matte befindet sich ein leichter Flaum/Flausch der das Wegrutschen verhindert.Sie sieht sehr hochwertig aus.Einziger Nachteil ist für mich, dass die Matte sehr dünn ist. Das wurde aber in der Beschreibung alles beschrieben und somit wurde vom Hersteller keine falsche Illusion geschaffen. Für mich als Anfängerin ist es recht schmerzhaft länger auf der Knien (4 FüÃlerstand) zu verharren oder einen Schneidersitz zu machen. Bin sehr ungelenkig und unsportlich. Werde mir aus diesem Grund wahrscheinlich noch das gleiche Modell nur für Zuhause bestellen, in der Hoffnung, das diese Matte mehr Support für die Gelenke gibt. Als Reisematte ist sie allerdings perfekt, da ich dabei wahrscheinlich sowieso nur SonnengrüÃe machen werde, die wenig Bodenkontakt vorraussetzen ;)Klare Empfehlung für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene!
