The top layer separates out
It’s a bad product. Haven’t used much since i purchase. Top layer started bubbling up and separating just after 2 months of purchase. The return period was over so couldn’t return. Don’t purchase. Waste of money and time.

not good quality at all
After two days of flattening the mats on the floor held down with books, they still won’t lay flat and try to roll up on you. One mat has spots where the cork side is separating from the rubbery side. Definitely not high quality and not good for the use intended.

This is the finest, most comfortable, nicest mat I’ve EVER had!
I can’t even begin to list all of the reasons a cork mat is superior to all other mats, but if you look it up and ask the experts, it’s incredible. This was my first experience with a real cork mat, and let me tell you, everything you’ve heard is true- this is the future of yoga fitness! The mat itself is so light for its size, and it folds out and rolls up easily. The carry strap is really handy and simple to use, and the natural antimicrobial properties of the cork mean I don’t even need to wipe it down between sessions! The anti-slip properties are amazing, I’ve never had such powerful grip, and the thickness of this mat is nearly TWICE that of a PVC mat! Even my work-weary knees never once felt pain holding poses thanks to how CUSHY this is!I did accidentally fold this while trying to roll it tightly and it didn’t crack, only wrinkled slightly, and that smoothed out with patting, so I am also impressed with the quality of cork used. It is very soft and fresh, not old or ready to split at all. The size is also incredible, I can lie full-body comfortably on this without my feet hanging off of the end.The cork and TPE backing are very well joined, there is no hint of separating or stress between the layers, even after hardcore using this to really break it in it could still pass for just as new as when I first unrolled it! I expect this to be with me for a very long time!I just can’t say how very pleased I am with this! Not only is it a real cork mat, it is a NICE cork mat, fully high-end-quality through and through. I literally couldn’t be any happier with this than I am now, and it is probably the nicest thing to improve my life I’ve ordered all year! If you’re investing in a real cork mat, you absolutely should, and in my opinion you won’t find better than this- it exceeded my hopes and expectations in literally EVERY way! 5-stars doesn’t even feel like enough, but it’s the most I can give, so it definitely deserves it!!

Used twice and peeled
I was so disappointed in this item, as I have gotten a Mats from them before. I used this mat twice and noticed that the cork began rippling and lifting off of the mat!

Well-made, unique mat! Concept kind of gross though
As someone whoâs spent a fair amount of time in Bikram yoga classes getting splashed with sweat by the dude next to me, I was really intrigued by the concept of this mat. The cork top absorbs the sweat, rather than leaving it on top to pool and trip you up when you go to do warrior pose or whatever. The first thing I noticed was that the mat was a little thicker than most. It does have a black rubber backing so it doesnât slip all over the floor. The back seemed a little less âstickyâ than my other mats, though, so I was worried it might slide. But it didnât go anywhere over a few strength sessions, including a routine where I was doing plyometric jumps. When I first rolled it out, it stayed kind of bent at the ends, so donât plan on using it right away. I had to weight it down for a couple of days.As for the sweat absorption, yes – the cork does absorb liquid, making it a good choice if you sweat a lot or like hot yoga. However, the thought of the sweat sinking down into the cork over several months of years kind of grosses me out. So I would still place a towel over it if youâre going to be doing some major sweating.
