Wonderful guide to the benefits of living yoga
This is such a great book about yoga. The title accurately describes what you will find in the book. It is not just the poses that you can use for your benefit, but the changes that yoga can produce in all aspects of life. Yoga is known to be a great stress reliever. Well this book will teach you how to use it for this, weight loss and so many other reasons. I would highly suggest you getting this book if you are looking for a change of pace in life. Maybe you are looking to lower stress, lose some stubborn belly fat, or simply learn some great steps to help meditate; this book teaches that and so much more. The author does a great job discussing the history of, uses of and so much more about yoga, that I didn’t know. And of course there are great explanations on important yoga poses that will help you on your way to achieving what you are looking for. Great guide!!

good for info. about Yoga and it’s many benefits. No Pictures or Diagrams
three stars because there are no photos or diagrams shown with the handful of poses given. I believe that one or the other is necessary so the reader can be sure they are doing them correctly. not doing the poses correctly could cause muscle pain or an injury.the other parts of the book have great, useful and informative information about the different benefits of yoga.a great reference book/starting point in all areas EXCEPT the parts about the poses. Pictures or diagrams are needed and necessary.

Great book for beginners
This short and sweet introduction to yoga not only describes the benefits of yoga, but also gives some the key poses of yoga such as the tree, eagle, cat, and warrior poses. I found this book to be very informative and helpful, though I find many of the positions difficult because of my inflexibility. My friends say that I will become more flexible gradually and already Iâm feeling calmer and more centered. A nice read.

Perfect book to get into yoga
I tried yoga several months ago and I can say I was pleasantly surprised at to good it was for me. And now since reading this book I want to get into it more and make it a daily or weekly practice as I really enjoyed how this book showed me that it can be great for your health and mind.I can’t wait to start living the yoga lifestyle and better improve myself.
