Perfect Interactive Book for Littles
I got this book for my granddaughter when she was about a year and a half old. She tried to do some of the moves and watched and learned and now a year later she does them all. She loves to do them with Grandma or on her own.

Yoga for Toddlers – Perfect
This book is a great find for parents who are into yoga. Yoga comes naturally to toddlers as this first book of yoga shows. It is filled with colorful illustrations of nine different easy-to-learn poses. Illustrated “Yoga Babies” show each pose and the opposite page illustrates an animal that will help little ones remember the pose.At the end of the book there are photos of real toddlers demonstrating the poses. The last page gives the actual “yoga” names plus a written “how-to”. This is a great way to introduce yoga to your child while you both have fun and exercise.

Great fun for little ones!
My 18-month old loves this book. Every morning she opens it and does the postures without any prompting from me. The illustrations are fabulous, as well as the photographs of actual toddlers practicing yoga. I’ve used the book as a springboard to discuss all sorts of topics …. especially temper tantrums. When my daughter is upset, I tell her to “breath like a lion” to get her breathing and more importantly calm. I’ve practiced yoga for well over ten years and was hoping to introduce my daughter at some point. Little Yoga: A Toddler’s First Book of Yoga enabled me to do so much earlier than I thought possible.

Great interactive book for kids!
We checked this out from the library and I had to buy it because my 1 year old is OBSESSED. We take this everywhere and anytime she gets upset, I can pull this book out and do Little Yoga with her & her frown immediately turns upside down. We have done this in way too many public places, but she just loves it so why not? She is now coming up on two and I will catch her doing the moves on her own now, with or without the book. My 3 year old and 7 year old also enjoy doing it with her. It’s a huge hit at my house!

Great yoga book for toddlers
My daughter LOVES this book. We started using it around 15 months (she’s very active/walked early). At first she was only interested in doing about two of the poses but over time she has loved doing the entire book and will even do the poses on her own. The “breath like a lion” has been especially useful when she starts to get really worked up and just needs to calm down a bit. Would definitely recommend!

Little Yoga
Great book. I used it the next day in my early childhood special education classroom. The poses were easy enough for my 3 & 4 year old students to do. They were also doable for this 50+ year old teacher. Only change I would suggest to the author is to not use the term “baby” throughout the book. I’m waiting for one of my kiddos to say, “I’m not a baby.”

Cute but not real pictures
I bought this book based on the “sneak peak” showing real pictures of kids doing yoga poses. Imagine my surprise when I opened it and saw all illustrated pictures except for the 1 page of real pictures shown in the “sneak peak.” My daughter does not care for illustrations nearly as much as real photos. I would not have bought this if I had know it was illustrated and not all photos. However, the pictures are still cute and daughter enjoys the photo page a lot and imitates the poses.

Le livre est bien illustré, de bonne qualité. Je l’ai utilisé avec ma classe de moyenne section, couplé avec l’ours yogi. Les enfants ont adoré.

This book has lots of fun animal-based yoga poses for toddlers to imitate. One side of the page has a drawing of an animal doing the pose, while the other side has a toddler doing it. At the back of the book are photographs of an actual toddler doing the poses. This is my daughter’s favourite part of the book! She is 23 months now, but has been doing these since she was about 18 months.
