Why do you need a jump rope mat?
Mats can be helpful for jump rope workouts when jumping on certain surfaces, doing certain skills or if you have an old injury. If you’re prone to shin splints or have another underlying issue that you wish to avoid exacerbating through exercise, a jump rope mat can help.
How to choose a jump rope mat?
When buying a jump rope mat, there are a number of features you will want to consider. These include portability, grip, durability, size, length, and mat thickness.
Shock Absorbing Design: This jump rope mat is made of high-quality rubber material. Thickness is 0.2 inches/5mm, no more toes pain from jumping on the concrete and wooden floor. For shock absorption, the mat sacrifices some portability.
47X36” Jump Rope Mat: The mat size is 47X36”, it’s large enough for jumping rope. Keep you away from trip ropes and have enough range to exercise. Thick enough to reduce noise.
Unique Inspiring Quote Design: “Till my last breath” the encouraging quote will motivate you to persevere and never give up when you are jumping rope. It always reminds you to jump one more.
Superior Absorbent & Durability: Built with sturdy rubber material, an additional wear-resistant and absorbent layer is added on the surface. Solve the problem of sweating during exercise.
Multipurpose Mat: It’s not only a jumping rope mat, but also a excellent exercise mat, can be used for Yoga meditation sit-ups with knees bent and so on. Perfect gift for jump rope guys.

Large and shock absorbing
This is a nice big mat. I previously bought a mat that is used to work under cars before, because I was being cheap, It did not work. This is a mat made for jump roping. It is shock absorbing, and I couldnât even feel that I was on the cement tiles that I was jumping on.It is still a little too hot for jumping outside in Arizona at 104 degrees, so it will be better served when the temperatures start to go down, and then I will be so happy I have this mat.I have ropes that I donât want the cement damaging. The plastic comes off if you are using it on cement. Once you have a rope you can do double-unders with, you donât want it damaged. It is also just a good mat to do yoga on the grass with after your done sweating from jumping. The mat is sweat absorbing and has an inspirational message on it. With cute feet. One suggestion, since I didnât, would be sweep the dirt off the concrete before you put the mat down. I didnât, and the dirt was a little hard to brush off the back. The top wiped off very easily though.âIt is a great mat for the home gym enthusiast.

It’s ok
The smell is horrible so I would not use this for any exercise that requires body contact with it. I laid it out on my patio and it laid out with no curling which was good. I did jump on it and didn’t notice any real difference than jumping on the concrete directly so if there’s any shock absorbing it’s minimal. What I think it will do is protect my jump rope from shredding when hitting the concrete and protect my concrete from direct hit from the jump rope. When I ordered this the price was $59.99 and that’s way too much and, honestly, I feel the typical price of $39.99 is still too much for what it is.

Not for cushion so much as grip
This is a decent mat for providing grip. It is not meant to provide lots of cushion. It can also work well for a home gym set-up where you need a space set for multiple options, rope and weights and more. But I would probably use a yoga mat for floor work instead of this, and keep this one for my feet. I wonder about all the paint on the surface, how long that will last, and I don’t want it rubbing off on my body. But the stated purpose is jump rope, and for that it works, as well as lunges and squats with weights and so on.Note the size, it is just big enough for a jump rope session, not a lot more than that at 4 feet in length.

Nice Exercise Mat
We use this mat in our 3rd car garage that has been set up as a workout fitness area with quite a bit of equipment, mirror and rubberized floor. We use this mat as a “yoga” mat to perform different exercises like situps, pushups, … where ones is on the floor to perform them. This mat is foot wider (actually 11″) than a standard yoga mat and shorter. But we like that as one can perform wide pushups while still being on the mat. The mat is not very thick, maybe slightly less than a standard yoga mat, thus not sure how absorbent it is while jumping. But for our purposes, it is working out very nice.

Low Quality, and no shock absorption!
I will only highlight the problems this mat caused.1. It leaves its color on your feet, on your clothes if you lay down on it.2. The cushion is pretty thin, so shock absorption is zero.Team who manufactured should look into it and make it worthy product.

Great addition to the home gym
Needed some added padding for the squat cage and for jump rope in the garage gym. This mat is thick and adds just enough shock absorption to take the sting out!
