PREMIUM QUALITY: JadeYoga mats are specially designed to provide a superior level of traction. We only use natural rubber because it provides a better grip and has more cushion and is better for the earth than synthetic rubbers (PVC, PER, TPE, EVA). The result is a yoga mat that provides grip, comfort, and durability.
ULTRA COMFORTABLE MAT: The Fusion mat is a thick exercise mat designed for restorative yoga, Yin yoga, Pilates, core fitness, or anytime you need extra comfort! At 5/16” thick, the Fusion Mat provides extra cushion for whenever you want, or need maximum comfort.
NATURAL MATERIALS: Jade yoga mats are made from entirely toxin-free materials with no PVC, phthalates, heavy metals, or other harsh chemicals. Easy to clean, we recommend JadeYoga’s plant-based Mat Wash, so you can spend more time focusing on your yoga practice.
SUSTAINABLE RUBBER: JadeYoga mats are made in the USA with imported rubber that is carefully sourced with the future in mind. Our yoga mats are made from natural rubber, tapped from rubber trees, a rapidly renewable resource.
BE THE CHANGE: Jade is committed to giving back to the earth with every mat sold. We want to leave the earth a better place than when we found it. As Jade mats come from trees, we decided to give back by planting a tree for every mat sold. And since 2006, through our partnership with Trees for the Future, we have done just that, planting over two million trees so far.

    Super grippy with springy padding
I’d been using a Gaiam extra thick mat, which has great padding but slips around on the floor, and it also affected my balance poses because it’s so soft. I got the Jade mat because reviews said how grippy it is. And wow, what a difference. My balance poses are so much better. I also like that, although it’s not as thick as my Gaiam mat, it is certainly not thin, and it’s compressible but springs right back, so it doesn’t feel soft. With the excellent grip, it’s a perfect combination to stop you losing your poses.Having said that, I almost sent it back. Like other reviewers have said, man, was it stinky. It’s natural rubber. I had to let it off gas in the garage for three weeks and only now is it OK. It still has a rubber smell but is no longer offensive. I was excited to use it straight away and it was like doing yoga on a balloon! The garage smelled like a tire factory for weeks. I emailed the customer service team about the smell and they replied quickly. Basically, bottom line, you’ll love it, but be prepared to let it lie open for a few weeks. It’s pretty heavy, but I’m OK with that. I have a couple of carrying options—a bag and a cinch strap. This mat will likely outlive me!! It’s very good quality. Well worth the cost. And the planet got a tree. Thank you Jade Yoga 🙂

Exactly what I was looking for (just plan on airing it out!)!
I started practicing yoga a few years ago. At the time, I only did yoga once per week, maybe even once every two weeks. Before I started I picked up a $20 yoga mat from a local store, and this worked fine for use that was sporadic, at best.Recently I dramatically increased the amount I practiced, going from once every few weeks to 3-4 times per week. With this increase, my $20 mat began to slowly but surely fall apart. I started researching mats, trying to find one that would last. I was initially surprised at how much the mats cost, but with as much as I would be using one I figured purchasing a quality mat would be a good investment. The first mat I purchased was the Manduka Pro. I read so many good reviews about this mat I figured my searching was done. However, this was not the case. Regardless of what I did, that mat was too slippery to use. I will write a more in-depth review of the Manduka mat, but the short version is I followed the break-in instructions to a tee, doing several sea-salt scrubs (and scrubbing HARD), leaving the mat to dry in the sun (as instructed . . . but don’t do this with the Jade), and it was still slippery. So I returned it, resumed my search, and came across the Jade. The first Jade I purchased was the Jade Harmony. I really liked this mat because of the grip. The traction was outstanding, but it was a little too thin for my tastes. My wife liked it, though, so we kept it, and I kept looking. I came across the Fusion in a local store and could tell it was the mat I was looking for. However, they only carried the 68″ mat (I am only 5′ 9″, but I like to have room to move from pose to pose without having to reposition myself on the mat). I had remembered a larger Fusion from searching on amazon, so when I got home I immediately ordered it. When it arrived I knew I was done searching for a mat.The Fusion has the same grip as the Harmony, and it has just a little more padding. Traction is not an issue on this mat. This was my #1 priority when searching for a mat, and having used the Fusion for a few weeks now I can say that I have not slipped once. The two negative things I read about this mat were that it smelled and that it broke down after a few months. As for the smell, that is 100% true. I aired the mat out in my garage for two weeks before I even attempted to use it. It is an all-rubber mat, and that is exactly what it smells like. Maybe the smell won’t bother you, but if you decide to order this mat, go into your purchase expecting that you won’t be able to use it for at least two weeks because of the smell. I do not notice the smell anymore unless I am face down on the mat, and even then it is not that noticeable. As for the Fusion breaking down, if that does happen I will update my review to state this. I’ve used it for a few weeks with no problems, but if it does start breaking down quickly, I don’t think it would be worth the cost. For now, though, I highly recommend the Fusion. If you are looking for a mat with superior grip, and a little more padding, this is it.UPDATE: 4/3/16 – I’m still using this same mat almost two years after my original review, and the mat is still in great shape. It is not breaking apart or showing the wear and tear I expected from this material. I still 100% recommend this mat.

    My Soul Mat.
I am one of those people who must research something to death before I purchase. I agonized over which yoga mat to buy for a month, reading hundreds of reviews and basically driving myself crazy with indecision. My previous mat was a Jade harmony that lasted years before it started to get “stretchy”.What I was looking for:*GRIP! I need a mat that never gets slippery, even when I sweat.*Cushion for my joints and bony knees*A nice solid base that doesn’t bunch or stretch under me*Extra length*An aesthetically pleasing colorI “test drove” a Manduka Pro, a Manduka Eko, and a Jade Elite, and a Jade Fusion. My husband kept (and loves) the Jade Elite because he wanted something firmer, but it didn’t have enough cushion for me. I sent the others back. If you want more details on why, you can check out my other reviews.Aaaaah, the Jade Fusion. My soul mat. What I love about it:The olive green color is lovely and calming, just as pictured. The grip of this mat is beyond compare. The thickness is perfect- even on hard floors my knees and wrists don’t bother me.The rubber smell faded quickly. The extra length is great.Very heavy-duty… no bunching, slipping on the floor, or stretching.Downsides to this mat:It is so grippy that EVERYTHING sticks to it….cat hair, dirt, etc.Minimal color selectionNo option for a wider matSo, after MUCH deliberation and comparison shopping, I can say with confidence that the Jade Fusion comes out on top.

    Best Yoga Mat
This is the best mat I have ever used. While it is heavier than other mats the quality is excellent. It is very comfortable and there is no slipping whatsoever and my body does not hurt on it at all, it is nice and cushy. If you are very tall you will need to get a longer mat. This size just fits me and I am 5’6″, if I was any taller I would need a longer one. While the price is steep, it is well worth paying the extra money for this product. I feel like this mat will last a lifetime of yoga. Just having this mat motivates me to do more yoga. Beautiful color too. I highly recommend this mat!

  7. Keza

Really helped my practice. Non slip, big, cushioned my knees. Worth the money

I bought this mat for it’s extra thickness to protect my knees. I don’t need to use a blanket or towel under my knees now this mat offers plenty of protection. It also has a very slight bounce due to its density which I love. It is a bit heavy but that doesn’t stop me carrying it around. I’m a Yoga Teacher so I’m using it everyday. It has good durability as I’ve had it about a year now.

Excelente amortiguación para las rodillas. Inmejorable agarre al tapete. Aún cuando sudes mucho y se moje el mat, no te resbalas.
