I teach 14 hot yoga classes each week with a few outdoor classes on top. Iâve used this mat on the beach, on grass and in the hot room. Smells great first of all – no chemical stench. The colors are saturated pastel and look fantastic. The weave is very tight and sand from the beach donât get stuck. Itâs plenty thick and solid feeling – I appreciate the traction lines at the hand and feet areas. For hot yoga it works great however takes a very long time to dry – if you teach 14 classes in a weekend like I do, itâs not going to dry out between classes – so I do not recommend for that style of use. However I do like the traction in the hot studio and I so far have always used a rubber mat beneath it to keep any sliding from happening on smooth flooring during jump backs ect. Iâm not sure thatâs necessary and will be experimenting on floor grip more. Just not using it for four classes in a row in the hot room per day.

So beautiful
I adore my new yoga mat! It didnât smell, the design is stunning, the colors are a beautiful soft tone, and it was easy to wash and dry on delicate. Feels durable but time will tell! Light and easy to roll up and carry. Excited to see how it hold up in hot yoga.

This yoga rug has positives and negatives. It is only 5mm thick on the edge; in the middle it is thin, maybe 1 or 2 mm thick. Because of this I still need to place a yoga mat underneath it to have any cushion. It is also a good two inches thinner than my yoga mats.It is nice to practice yoga on the cotton rug though. It feels nice.

So much better than a yoga towel
Before I got this mat, I used a yoga towel over a rubber mat. The towel would slip around and I was constantly adjusting it. This mat stays in place. It also has ridges that help me grip during difficult poses. Its thickness also provides extra comfort when I am posing on my knees. It is well made.

Might have been great
I really like the fabric, the non skid backing and the gripping bands. However, all the weaving was sliced through in one corner and started to unravel.

Cotton yoga mat
Love the feel and look. Great length, sturdy and non slip. If you are looking for a non rubber, plastic mat, these are perfect.

This mat is what I was looking for. I always slip on my mats the surface for this mat is soft but textured enough to have a great grip and be able to hold positions comfortably. I would recommend and buy again.

Smells moldy
Smells like itâs been in a musty wet basement for a long time. Washed it and it still smells bad. May have to return this as it would not be enjoyable to use and be laying on with this odor
