Very fun book for kids
We were first introduced to this book through our local library. However, our kids loved it so much we bought our own copy. Our 2 and 4 year old do the different yoga poses each night before they go to bed. They love it and are quite excited about trying some of the more challenging poses. They also sometimes when playing now call out the different poses and then do the poses together. A big thank you to the author and illustrator for such a wonderful book.

Wonderful book and teaching aid
I love this book! It is perfect for my class of 5 – 8 year olds, and would be very useful for older kids just learning yoga positions. It’s easy to understand, so can be used for younger kids, but it may be a bit long for toddler/preschool age. It takes about 20 mins to read and go through the poses with a cooperative class.

Delightful Book for Children and Adults
I bought this for my niece who has some experience with yoga in school (she is 4) and she loves it. She has been asking a lot of questions lately about spending time alone, rest and learning about her preference for downtime and quiet from her classmates. The illustrations are beautiful and the lessons are great for children and adults. I may get my own copy and recommend it to my friends. Movement and mindfulness are things many of us can practice more and more.

Very honest explanation of yoga
Fabulous. The most simplified and honest explanation of yoga I have every read. I teach yoga and was happy to buy this for a friend of mine. Most people think yoga is a pose, but it is much much more. The poses are only 1/8th of all the limbs of yoga. Get this for friends, and kiddos alike.
