    Im still reading the book, but I feel compelled to share that it truly is a gem for beginners in yoga. In this book, I’ve found realistic and achievable exercises. I’ve purchased yoga guides before, where the poses required twisting into a pretzel. Thankfully, this book is different.

It’s somewhat limited on actual movements to practice, but for some, it will be just the right introduction into this practice.

    Most of this book is the author repeating over and over how beneficial chair yoga will be for the reader. Had to slog through several chapters to even get to the warm-up activities. The actual exercises could be shared in 50 pages or less. What there is of them are well-illustrated and easy to follow. Was OK to get started in adding this to my activities and having a meditative program to supplement my walks. But can be irritating reading when you just want to get started. Will be seeking another book to find more variety and additional poses.
