Grippity Grip Grip
TL;DR: This is a fantastic mat at an even more fantastic price.Full disclosure I did get this mat free. Full context I have been fortunate to get many many mats free as a longtime yoga student (25+ years) and independent studio owner in Santa Monica, CA. I do not review all the mats I get to test.After two weeks on this mat, theses are my impressions:GRIP: The absolute most important thing I need in a mat is that I don’t slip. This mat is GRIPPY, even when really wet, and not just on top. The underside grip is super impressive too. I do a toe drag from cobra to down dog that tends to pull the back end of my mat forward, bunching it up. This mat doesn’t move much, it holds the floor so well. I also find that these kind of “absorb through to the floor” mats create a pool of sweat under the mat that allows it to hydroplane sometimes. Not this one. It stays put like it should.THICKNESS: This thing is cushiony but I can still feel the floor. Comfortable doing cat and cow, where I especially appreciate the cushion. Felt great in handstand, where I really want to feel the floor. If you have really sensitive knees or sit bones you’ll likely want to get an extra cushion (like a towel or blanket) rather than buy a thick mat anyway. Thick mats are tough for balance even right side up.DRY TIME: This is another concern with these absorb-through style mats. I have other ones that take a couple days to dry when really soaked. I haven’t done a timed test or anything, but this one has been dry for next day’s practice and that’s plenty for me.LOOKS: I am a big fan of the muted color choices (I got the matcha green). They are colorful but not bright. I dig the abstract minimalism of the alignment pattern. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.Overall, I have seen companies like Manduka, Lululemon, and YogiToes go from little pop-up shop to massive global brand. I hope this company finds it’s way to the top with them. Their products are already there. You should check out their super-innovative gecko yoga towels as well, great to use on top of a lower quality mat or just by itself. Their towel is my go-to piece of yoga gear when I travel.

Comfortable and grippy
This mat is slightly 2inch narrower in width than the usual yoga mat width in the market. Light, grippy, sweat absorbent and easy to clean mat! Doesnât smell bad upon opening the my parcel. Most important my body doesnât slide on downward dog! Also this black and line adjustments are just beautiful to look at, enhancing my practice. Hoping in the future comes a wider/longer mat.

Grippiest grip and has improved my yoga
10 year practitioner, Iâve gone through cheap mats, a Lululemon and a Manduka. I was on the hunt for a grippy mat. I was about to pull the trigger on another Manduca and the Amazon suggested Agoy. I took a shot and I am extremely pleased Iâve had the Agoy for three months now. The grip is excellent and the thickness is good. Whatâs the big surprise for me was how much Iâve ended up using the lines in my daily practice. It helps with alignment in every position and it has improved my yoga and the way my body feels. I look forward to having this mat for years to come.

Good Length and Excellent Grip
I wondered how come some yoga mats were expensive such as this one however I can 100% tell you that this is way worth it if you’re a yogi. There are two reasons, one the mat has great great grip it has been able to let me hold positions way easier when doing yoga, and two the mat doesn’t fold on itself and lays flat and is a good length. As well as the design helping me to know where I should be on the mat when doing certain positions is great. I would recommend this product 100% for anyone that is a yoga enthusiast.

High quality yoga mat. Once you get used to the smooth rubbery feel, it will become your go-to mat.
It took me a minute to get used to the smooth, rubbery feel of this yoga mat. However, once I got past that detail, I was delighted with this mat. The lines etched in it help you maintain good placement and form in your yoga moves; the rubber surface holds you steady and you don’t slide (even in hot yoga); and the mat cleans up easily. The mat does not slide around on wood floors. It also rolls up super quick. It’s a great mat!

As a long-time yoga practitioner, I can confidently say that that the agoy warrior pro+ is the best yoga mat I’ve ever used. I discovered this gem while on a trip to London on a friend’s recommendation, and it has truly transformed my practice. The wet and dry grip is phenomenal.
