    Sturdy and Attractive
This EKE yoga mat isn’t especially thick at ¼”, but it provides enough non-slip padding to be helpful during floor workouts. It stays solidly in place on the floor while also providing traction for the body – even when slightly damp from exercise.Although it’s described in the seller’s information as being odorless, there’s a distinct chemical smell when it’s first unpackaged. Let it air out for a while so the odor dissipates, then it will be fine to use without any smell.Aesthetically I find the lotus pattern design in the middle of the mat to be attractive, while the pale blue color is both soothing and calming.I also like the netted storage bag that accompanied the mat. For me, it’s been easy to roll up the mat and slide it back into the bag. Anyone who’s ever wrestled with putting a tight-fitting pillowcase on a king-size pillow – or stuffing a Thermarest camping pad back into its case – will find repacking this mat is an absolute breeze by comparison.BOTTOM LINE: The EKE yoga mat is non-slip, well made, and aesthetically pleasing. That said, the current price-point of $30 is about $5 to $10 higher than similar mats – including some that are thicker. Those are factors you may want to consider as you comparison shop various products.

    Hand wash.
Pros:Nonslip.Provides traction during use. (not a smooth, slippery surface)Lightweight.Used inside as both a movement practice mat and a sleep mat. Worked okay.Cons:1) Getting it out the first time was a smooth experience, because the rolled up pad was encircled with a sheet of plastic and it slid right out.Getting the used mat back into its dedicated backpack takes a bit of time, it’s so snug that I had to pull the backpack up inch by inch — and that’s a time consumer. as well as struggling to get it back out again each time thereafter.Either make the backpack larger in circumference so it’s not a fight to get the mat in-and-out, or put a zipper in the backpack the full-length of the pack instead of an opening at one end only.2) The string provided to act as a strap is not a strap. It’s a string, and not wide enough to comfortably use as a shoulder strap.3) Not simple to clean if you take it outside, I suggest washing it off with a hose and letting it dry on a line when used outside.
