These socks are comfortable and the grip spots do add grip to the bottom of the foot. I tried these with ski boots which tend to be tight so there isn’t much sliding around anyway. As the day goes on on the slopes, sometimes I like some relief from the tightness of the boots so I thought adding some grip to my socks might help with keeping my feet in the boots from slipping as much. It worked for a limited effect but not as well as I had hoped. This isn’t really a knock on the socks as much as the way I used them.
