    Comprehensive subject coverage not withstanding clear, concise, friendly reading!
    A great treatment on the topic. Very encouraging for a newbie like me. This instruction book is certain to become a well worn manual. A perfect companion for home office captives who have struggled to find time for the gym, and not getting any younger.     Initially when reading this book, I thought it was going to be an illustrated how-to for chair yoga. Although there are illustrations, this book provided much much more than that! I had little or no experience in Yoga at all and the pages unfolded to reveal the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of Yoga. Being a senior myself, but still quite agile, the writer uncovered a new world of exercising to me, even if you have back problems, mobility issues or inexperience. Salient points were repeated in the progressive chapters, which covered how beneficial chair yoga is at any age really (what if one was recovering from an accident and was chair bound for awhile – this would be quite handy!) and setting goals, keeping a diary on goals achieved and new goals set and even the social aspects of performing chair yoga in a group. As seniors, it would provide much needed socialization and feelings of well-being as you are connecting to a community. I give a hearty thumbs-up to the writer for their knowledge and ability to share that knowledge in the written word. Well done!

    This is an amazing book! This is ideal for people like me who are unable to do normal exercises but can do the excellent ones recommended by sitting in a chair. The exercises are well illustrated making it even easier to follow. As with any form of exercise, mindset is the key and I particularly liked the chapter on the more spiritual aspect. For anyone who wants/needs to be a little more active but finds it too difficult because of health reasons, then this is definitely the book for you. An ideal present for any elderly relative or friend!!

    Easy to read,comprehensive holistic approach to chair yoga for seniors. It encompasses physical, mental and social health of the individual with easy to pick out the area most relevant to each person.In my case as I have arthritic knees, poor balance and reduced strength in wrists, and ankles and reduced flexibility not to mention abysmal balance.My chapters would be :Poses for flexibility in shoulders, spine, hips, ankles and feet for balance support.Safety tips and use if props andThe chapter on strength and balance
