The spiral binding makes book stay open while Iâm using it and that is such a huge help! The descriptions of exercises are good. I wish there were photos of each step of each exercise. Chair yoga is fun and I feel safe like I wonât fall down again. Book arrived in perfect condition.

Designed for seniors. Yoga without fall risks.
This is a great tool for seniors to stretch, exercise muscles a little and meditate. I have always loved yoga and practiced it as a young woman. It doesnât seem logical, but yoga is really relaxing in the postures and breathing.I purchased a music stand as suggested and the spiral binding of the book is perfect. You can tell from the stories and practicing chair yoga that the author has thought this out based on her experience working with seniors.

A Game Changer
After doing these exercises for a month, I have increased my strength enough to allow me to get from sitting to standing without a struggle. The spiral binding makes it easy to use. A game changer for me. I highly recommend this book.

Excellent book to teach chair yoga
The book is very good for teaching seniors or disabled adults how to do chair yoga without pain. It is spiral bound, so it will lay flat while youâre doing the poses. I recommend it to anyone but most especially the handicapped and elderly.

Have plenty of problems as a senior citizen who benefits from these stretches etc. sure helps keep me more flexible and the stiffness that comes with aging.

Author Lynn Lehmkuhl has created a work of art for seniors, those with mobility problems and anyone wanting to learn yoga easily.The images are clear, the text is understandable and the poses are do-able. I am in a wheelchair because I have MS so I am unable to stand as I may/will keel over.I can do this from my wheelchair!Brilliant!

Post TIA I needed something to kick start me back to fitness. The exercises are good. I started at intermediate level but with tins of tomatoes instead of 2kg weights, it was all I could manage. After 3 weeks I can now vary weights from 1kg to 2kg on different exercises, Definitely worth trying.
