    I know this book titles itself for seniors, but I liked how gentle it was for all ability levels. The book opens by explaining what chair yoga is and how it can benefit your life. Each exercise is well explained with adaptations for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. I liked that each exercise could be adapted to.your needs. There is also a photo series.with each exercise too so you can see how to do the movement properly. There are several 28 day exercise plans. There is a plan for beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels. But there is also an exercise plan for those looking to achieve a certain goal, like losing weight. Each is explained well. The author also provides help on incorporating this into a healthier lifestyle.

    Well adapted for seniors
    This chair yoga isnรขย€ย™t trying to be all things to all people; itรขย€ย™s specifically for people over 60. As a result, thereรขย€ย™s a clear effort to modify the techniques for the specific challenges of older people. There are chapters that address specific problems, such as osteoporosis. The poses are designed to minimize the risk of fractures, and there are discussions about overall health strategies. The only drawback might be that the font canรขย€ย™t be enlarged, because the pages are graphic images, but the quality of the photographs makes up for the inconvenience of having to zoom into the page to read some of the text clearly. All things considered, this is a good investment in your health routine.

    I have purchased several chair yoga books for seniors and this is the most comprehensive book I’ve found. I love it because it’s easy to follow, has categories for flexibility, strength, balance and stability, joint health and pain relief, heart and circulatory health, and free videos for each exercise. It even includes nutrition and a 28-day challenge for beginners, intermediates, and advanced. It’s taken away all my excuses to not do it. I’m starting the 28-day challenge today! I highly recommend this book!

    I gifted this chair yoga book to my dad and he loved it,. I struggled to get him out of the chair to do anything, so figured, why not try something that uses the chair. Of course he did have to get out of the chair, but you get the pointExercises are super simple and easy to follow. He has only been doing it for a couple of days, but that is a couple more days than he has done anything in a long time.And itรขย€ย™s only 10 minutesรขย€ยฆ.on the second day he actually did it twice. Once in morning, and once before dinner.Very excited about the potential for him!
