Great for people new to exercise to start!
This was a great look at Yoga and Pilates. I have just started using yoga to help rehab after many injuries and repair surgeries to various areas of my body. Through the addition of chair yoga as well as sound therapy I have been able to lose 25 pounds in three months and with this addition to my knowledge base I look to lose additional weight moving forward as well as becoming a yoga instructor (200 hour). This book will afford many people to get started on a path to wellness which I believe is in all of our interests as we grow through life! Really great exercise plan for everyone
This book gives some background on yoga and general health tips before going into the actual exercises. Every exercise is thoroughly explained with pictures. This is a great plan for beginners and seasoned exercisers. I would definitely buy a dvd of it if it was offered. The physical therapist, at the assisted living place where my 90+ year old friend lives, does very similar group exercises with the residents. It can improve your physical health no matter your age.
