My kids got this balance board for Christmas and have not stopped playing with it, It’s now June. My daredevil daughter uses it to slide off of every piece of furniture, and once down our carpeted stairs. It’s also a handy step stool and comfortable lounge furniture for playing on devices or watching TV. Great value for the money, size is perfect, very sturdy, and finish is water resistant. The veneer chipped a little bit when it was used on tile, but it’s a very small complaint. Overall great purchase!

Great for active little boy
We joked for weeks that we were giving our grandson a board for Christmas! My husband and I played with some of his pull back cars and laughed at them going over the bridge. Still my husband was skeptical, even after I showed him some other things that could be done with the âboard. â Christmas Day, I was prepared to show our little two year old grandson all he could do with it. Within minutes, he was already making plans. First it was a slide, then it was fun to walk up and down the other side. Then he drove his cars under it and over it. Iâm told that he plays with this every day at home. He uses it as a stool to look out the window and watch the garbage truck, balances on it as he rocks back and forth, etc. It seems this board has given loads of entertainment! I did get ours on sale. The regular price is a bit hard to swallow. If a little person in your life is super active and imaginative, this could be a hit for them!

Entertaining for the whole family
This balance board was a huge hit with our 2 year old (and mom and dad!). She mastered the balance board rocking side of it within a few days, and now pretends to use it as a slide, stands on it to look out the window, uses it as a cave and more! Both mom (5â2â 140lbs) and dad (6â 240lbs) have used it, as well as friends whoâve come to visit, without any issues. Weâve even had our 6 month old lay on it and rock back and forth (with support of course) and giggle away. This is a great purchase and will be used for years!

OK, but there are better balance boards out there
Ordered this in both widths for grandchildren (5 and 8 years old) for Christmas, but ended up returning both because I found a better board at Target for about the same price.The concept is great and these curved balance boards are wonderful for open ended play for all ages.This particular board has a few features that could be improved. The thickness of this board is about a half an inch, compared to s full 3/4 of an inch on the Target model. Also, as many other reviews stated, the edges were fairly rough and looked like they could splinter easily, compared to very smooth edges on the Target board. The quality of the wood and overall finish itself was also inferior to the Target board.Finally, the Target brand came with a felt liner that could be adhered to the bottom of the board to stabilize the board when used on hardwood floors and also protect the floors.No liner is included with the Amazon board, though it appears in done if the pictures that there is a blue liner.The Amazon board would certainly work, but the Target board was a much better purchase.I know it will hold up to years of play.
