    Life changing read.
I am not a book reader, other than required school reading I have only read six books in my 50 plus years, this was one of them,Helps to identify our own issues in relationships and unhealed wounds that lead to the behavior. Also helps to identify why we may be in toxic relationships or drawn to them.Gives a lot of information on how to turn a bad relationship into a healthy one, or as in my case when you have to end them to find happiness when your partner is too damaged and just dragging you down as they refuse to better themselves.I loved this book so much that I’ve bought it for friends and my adult children,My life has definitely been changed for the better after reading this.

This book is incredible! A must read for any couple!
I kept seeing this book on Tik Tok and heard mulitple amazing excerpts being read by others who were recommending the book. I finally purchased and I’m so glad I did! My fiancé and I are both on journeys of healing and this book has opened our eyes in such an amazing way! We went on a road trip and I took the book along to jumpstart our inner work. I read allowed as he drove and we spent hours reading, discussing and being in total awe of how accurate this book is regarding wounds. There is a specific question we read and it was “Are my words and actions perpetuating my partners wounding or contributing to their healing?” When I read this aloud, I paused, reread it out loud again and I was immediately filled with so much emotion that I started to cry. That question was so profound and in that moment it made me really take a step back and think about how I respond to my partner and how I might have actually been hurting him more than helping him heal. With both come from very different backgrounds and had very different childhoods but we both have very deep wounds. This book has been such an eye opening experience for us and I have recommended it to everyone I know because we all have wounds and all are in need of healing. I am sometimes skeptical or cautious about what I read because there are a lot of things out there that can plants seeds in your mind or lead you on a path that isn’t accurate or that is just the opinion of some random person that wrote the book. When reading this, we can literally identify our wounds and then read about that specific wound and the details regarding how those wounds shape you as a person is so specific it feels like the book was written about you. Ironically, it made me feel less alone or less complicated knowing that who I am and what I struggle with today or how I react is because of my wounds. Even if you feel like you’re in a healthy, thriving relationship, this book is still so insightful and allows you to understand yourself and your partner better. I would recommend this book for everyone and would give more stars if I could. We keep ours on the table in our living room and read through it often especially during times where we are struggling to understand one another. Buy it now! Buy it for all your friends as a gift!

Hands-down, one of the best books I’ve ever ever read
I would definitely recommend getting this book to help your relationship out if you can get your significant other to be open and read this together I promise it will work But people have to be willing to put in the work. It’s a good book if you’re in a relationship or if you’re not, you can learn a lot about yourself. This book is like my Bible. It goes everywhere me I have read it once and I have started it again. It’s a good book to have for yourself healing journey. Definitely recommend super happy with this book.

    Much needed
After seeing this book on tiktok I decided to look for it and I found it here so I ordered it because I wanted it the next day LOL it’s easy to read and it’s very insightful I would recommend this to anyone who is trying to do some inner work by yourself or with your partner.

  6. Bran

    One of the best
This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. Though the last 1/4 was a bit hard to get through. All the exercises to read through were kind of annoying and unnecessary.. but maybe some people found them helpful. The rest was very insightful and I enjoyed the writing style.

Love! Highly recommend for couples in conflict
This book is so good! I am not in a relationship right now but this book really helps one to understand that the conflicts we endure in relationships go back to our childhood wounds/trauma. So helpful! Highly recommend for couples in conflict who BOTH want to reconnect and improve their relationship. Good for single people too in order to unlearn certain behaviors and be able to identify wounds in your own life that you need to reconcile before taking that trauma into a relationship.

    MUST READ BOOK
I’ve been reading self help books for years.. and BY FAR is this one the best one yet. It has opened my eyes to their always being “two sides.” Everyone feels and expresses differently. It talks about how to understand both sides, help one another but also heal yourself. MUST READ!
