    Keep moving
I liked this book because it was very easy to follow, VERY effective. I bought my first book a good 9, 10 months ago or longer and after 3 months my husband went from a size 38 to a size 36. AMAZING!!! I did buy another one recently and pass it on to a good friend of mine who has a hard time with exercising. She has found it also extremely easy to follow and is attempting to get her husband to work out with her. It’s something that couples can do together and have fun!

    Movements for Senior bodies
This is a wonderful illustrated book for Seniors. It’s easy to understand and takes the guessing out of how to preform the movements and what to expect it you’re doing the movements right and even if you’re doing them wrong. The book even has 10 minute daily routines of different movements for use.

  3. G. A. Kuhstos

    not bad
I like the size of the font in this book. It’s a easier to read the most books and perfect for people. They can’t read small print.

Fantastic Book on Core Exercises for Seniors!
When I go to yoga classes, the teacher often takes one look at me as I walked into the room and announces to the class, “Today, we will focus on core poses!” LOL I am resistant (and always have been) of working my core. That said……………I love this book! The exercises are fairly easy to do (some extremely easy) and very effective. The illustrations are very good. I bought the spiral edition which makes it easy to lay the book flat as you follow the easy step-by-step instructions on the page on the right facing of each exercise–the illustrations of the exercise appears on the left page facing. After using this book enough, the illustrations alone (along with the “Remember” bubbles) are all you may need to remind you of how to do that particular exercise. You can use the suggested 5-minute routines in the latter part of the book or even work thorugh each group of core exercises which doesn’t take that long. The four groups of core exercises are: Seated Exercises, Standing Exercises, Mat Exercises, and Excercises with Weights. The availabe Cards look like they would facilitate easy groupings of the 4 different exercises which make up the many routines in the back of the book. However, I find the spiral-bound book easy enough to flip to the page # of the exercises and mark the spot with a “post-it note” for quick access. The routines give you the page number of the 4 individual excercises that make up the routine. One day I may eventually buy the card deck as well.Highly Recommended!!!!

quick & easy way for old guy to get fit again
short book. exercises for old people to do while sitting or standing or on the floor. plus advice and encouragement for getting started.

  6. Larry W. Mayes

    Effective, but noticed…
At 76, Hand exercises are essential as my stroke has me wobbling on walks and often need a little support from a wall when I suddenly lean too far!

  7. Suzanne

    Awesom
I love this book. I purchased the spiral book so I could flip through with ease. Very easy to understand and great pictures. I was able to start right away with the chair exercises and look forward to the standing exercises soon. Very happy with this purchase. I am 57 and in pretty good shape. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and sometimes I can’t do hard core exercises but want to keep my body going. These were nice and easy exercises that you can make harder by adding ankle or arm weights if you want. Easy to follow and understand.

  8. Sandy

    Great
I really love the spiral book. Easier to handle.

  9. Amazon Customer

well written, easy to follow. and good illustrations. If you incorporate these into a literally 5 minute routine each day you will feel the difference rather quickly. improvement in motion and muscles.

  10. Alex

Only just started trying some of these exercises but really impressed at the explanation of each move, and it’s simplicity and yet already I can feel their effects. Definitely aimed correctly at its target audience:

  11. Lucky Lady

Love the illustrations!! The descriptions are also very good and I have actually done them a time or two (chuckle) and I do like that there is also a condensed part with all the exercises together for ease of viewing. Colours are great, quality of paper and cover VG, would definitely recommend. I am senior (73) who has not kept moving as well as I ought, so this is a welcome resource for me!

  12. Agnes Rollins

The book is easy to read and the instructions are easy to follow. Pictures show the true form! I would recommend this to anyone at any age to start doing exercises with mobility issues!
