Our church does quarterly bags for the homeless. In the summer in Phoenix the ground is impossibly hot and dangerous to sit on. Needed an affordable, nice sized mat to include in the bags. Ours came with carrying handles that were great; perfect for all kinds of sitting needs.

Odd Smell, Thin but Good Stability…
First of all, the price for 16 mats is great. Especially for yoga instructors, schools, small studios and the like, it’s hard to beat the pricing when you get that many in a box. I received 7 different colors – 3 black, 3 grey, 2 red, 2 orange, 2 green, 2 blue and 2 purple. Great for variety (though kids might argue over who gets what color haha) and the added nylon carriers, though rather basic, is a nice bonus.They are very slip-resistant and offer very good stability on the floor. I purposefully got a little overzealous with some moves and walking across it and it didn’t move in the slightest. That’s very important for yoga mats, especially for some poses where the mat moving or slipping could mean a tumble and possible injury.As others pointed out, it is on the thin side. While thicker mats require more balance to maintain some poses, they are generally easier on the joints as well. As older folk, having that extra cushion would be much preferred. However, they aren’t advertised as thick, and those that don’t want to have to fight their own balance will likely find these work well. It’s just not something my joints would personally be happy about. It also does leave impressions on the mat when walked or sat on for some time. It doesn’t spring back quickly. Something to think about. One of the included images still shows foot prints despite having stepped off the mat for at least 30 seconds.The one other downside is that when removed from the plastic, they all have a very odd almost lighter fluid smell. I’m not sure if it’s the materials used, and would likely go away if all laid out to air out for some time, but it’s very off-putting when first unwrapping them. I would wait to air them out for a while before doing anything that would require your face to get close to the mat. It’s quite unpleasant.

Good basic thin yoga mats!
If you need some basic mats for a yoga studio, or for people to borrow, this may be a good pack for you! They would be good for a school activity for kids.They are thin mats. Theyâre not a super heavy duty quality mat like a Manduka pro lite or pro – but if you need a bunch of mats for the price of one of those, this is a fine mat pack.The surface of these mats is better than probably all of the other 4mm basic mats Iâve seen from local retail stores and come across in my yoga travels. These are advertised as closed cell, and the surface does feel tougher/more durable than many other cheap and thin mats Iâve been around and used.They do have a smell when first opened. Itâs not my favorite, but it does seem to air out over time.The mats have great colors and come with basic elastic mat straps.Not a bad deal for say $8-$10 a mat!

These mats are basic but do the job. They are thinner than my other mats but do stay put on the floor and give you some cushion. Each mat comes with a carry strap which is handy if you’re traveling with your mat. The colors are vibrant as pictured. Overall, good quality basic yoga mats.

Nice lightweight yoga mats. Love the variety of colors. Easy to wipe clean and roll for storage. A good weight for children to use. Nice texture so you don’t slip around. Looks as pictured.

Little on the thin side
This is a nice set of yoga mats, if you’re needing to buy some in bulk. They’re a little on the thin side, but for the price, it is to be expected. Nice assortment of colors, good size. Carrying straps are convenient and a nice touch.

Great exercise mats.
Since I seem to go through the exercise mats pretty quickly, I decided to get this 16 pack. These mats are actually very well made and comfortable to use too. They are 68 inches by 24 inches. This pack comes with several different colors, so I can use any color I want. They each have the strap to make them easier to store and carry. The non slip material keeps the mats in place really well.
