Beautiful book!!
I cannot recommend this book more. It is packed with so many great resources for a variety of readers. This is a great book for the parent looking to introduce yoga to their family, a childrenâs therapist/psychologist exploring ways to incorporate yoga into their clinical practice, the curious child looking to have fun with yoga, and so much more! Itâs user friendly, beautifully illustrated, inclusive, colorful, and well written. I especially love that the authors included positive affirmations to practice with each yoga posture. As a parent coach and psychotherapist, I am excited to share this book with clients to learn ways yoga can help develop coping skills and connection with their children. I may need to order another for my coffee table at home! Itâs *that* good!!

Awesome Book!
108 Awesome Yoga Poses for Kids is truly an amazing piece of art! The photos of the poses are beautifully done so you can look at them and know that you are in the correct alignment. I love how interactive the book is, and how child friendly the cues are. I also like that each pose tells its Sanskirt name and the anatomical focus so you know which body part you are working on. I am impressed by the questions on each page that gets the children thinking as they try to guess which pose is being described. The book is broken up into themes which makes it easy to find when you are working on a lesson! This book is a must have for anyone that wants to bring Yoga into the lives of their youngsters! I look forward to using this book in my kids Yoga classes! Robin R- kids yoga teacher.

Simply beautiful!
Everything about this book is beautiful! The book opens with: âThink of your breath as a friend who is always with you and helps you feel more comfortable and relaxed in challenging situations.â What a beautiful thought! Just reading that brings a sense of peace. The book continues on with so many more calming, yet fun messages throughout. Each pose page is beautiful! From the authorâs pose demonstration to the accompanying highlighted photograph, affirmation value and Letâs Move description and tip, each page can be summarized as being filled with beauty. It is a perfect book for both parents and teachers to use with their children to achieve the goal of teaching mindfulness, calming techniques and mind body awareness. And to have fun together! There are so many benefits from this beautiful bookâ¦It is something enjoyable and different for kids to go through with their friends on a play date- so much more connection for them than playing video games together! It is a great bedtime tool and can really help children wind down from a hectic day. It is a great classroom break when students are getting âantsyâ or stressed before or after exams – pick a pose page and your students will simmer down and be ready to resume! All in all, I found this to be a beautiful book with so much to offer! Highly recommend.

UNIQUE! ENGAGING! CREATIVE! FUN!
An eye-catching book that will motivate kids and adults alike with its bright and bold colors, delightful pictures, and detailed but clear instructions for each pose. The book’s layflat design is an added bonus that keeps hands free to focus on the asanas. Beautifully executed, expressive and educational. A win for developing yogis, parents and teachers.

Kid Friendly Engaging Book
108 Awesome Yoga Poses for Kids is a book I highly recommend to all parents, teachers, and caregivers. Children can greatly benefit from practicing yoga and mindfulness, and this book makes it easy to incorporate both in your children’s lives. The poses are all kid friendly, the photographs are so helpful, and the book itself is cheerful, colorful, and engaging. My kids love to flip through the book and try out the poses. I especially love how Sanskrit terms are included. My second graders really enjoy learning the Sanskrit name for each pose. This is a book I will continually use with my students and my own children. It is beautifully done.

Adorable and Fun Kids Yoga Book
As a kids yoga teacher for over 20 years, I’ve seen a lot of kids yoga books! This one is so much fun, so creative and very informative. I love all the bean tips as well as all the various cues. It’s a great resource for teachers, yet kids would have fun using it as well. Lauren really captured what makes yoga for kids, yoga for kids with all of these adorable poses. So many that we use in our classes, but I have never seen captured in a book! Definitely add this to your kids yoga book collection. I highly recommend.

Wonderful resource for parents who want to share their love of yoga with their kids.
What I love about this book isthe variety of ways it can be utilized as a resource! My kids have flipped the pictures and tried to imitate poses. Theyâve asked me to call out animals so they can practice the corresponding pose, one time we just focused on Sanskrit! The book is filled with so much info but is organized in digestible, fun and interesting ways. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to share the love of yoga with the kids in their lives.

As soon as 108 Awesome Yoga Poses For Kids arrived, my 4 years old son was all over it, calling out the names (canât read yet, but the pics in the bottom left are such a great idea) and doing the poses. As a yoga teacher, I recommend this book to any mom/dad/care-giver who wants to introduce yoga to their little ones. Itâs so easy to follow along; the kids can do it on their own.

Read through this brilliant book in one sitting and I can’t wait to use it with my little students! It’s so easy to read and the added themes can really help as ideas for lesson plans. I love the way it’s bound, so that the pages can stay nicely open. Lauren’s tone is so fun and playful and her high energy really comes through… of course ending with everyone’s favourite… savasana! ;))
